Wendy's — Restaurant in Sycamore Township

Awful awful horrible service! I am just getting off of work at 9:15pm. Walked eight across the street to the restraunt and got there at 9:25pm. I was told by a staff member that the dinning room was closed for the night. Note they are open until 1 am and there is no times when the dinning room closes at night. So I asked the employee if I could go through the drive through. Again I'm hungry and just got off work. I had no problem with the dinning room being closed. After she told me I may go through the drive through on foot... I proceeded on. Stood in the drive through on foot for over 35 min. Waiting on someone to take my order. No order was taken so after 25 minutes I proceeded on line being the car in front of me in line and I waited patiently. A different employee approached the window and was vary nasty to me as he said sorry you have to be driving a vehicle. And I said sir your dinning room was closed and I told him what time I had got their and that it's not okay to close the dinning room early with no notice and still be nasty to me for waiting so long. After that he told me I needed to leave or the police would be called to escort me off the premises. With no argument I left free willing. But he was an ass and every time I go there the service sucks!! And I hope he...

Horrible experience and didn't even get food. Sunday, June 18, 10 pm. Pulled up to the drive thru to place my order and nothing for several minutes, so I finally said "Are you ready?" and the worker responds with "No, You are going to have to wait" to which I responded "Ok, let me know when you are ready." Next thing I know she responds telling me I'm being rude and it's only 2 people working in there. I responded that by saying, nothing I said was rude and I requested her name which she wouldn't give to me and said she was not going to serve me. I'm like how are u refusing to take my order, she told me I could go somewhere else, I said I'll wait until your are ready to take my order, to which she responded "I will take your order tomorrow." Fearing for the situation where she would call the police or do something to my food, I left and drove to the Ridge location. Similar situation where the drive thru person didn't say anything to me, when I asked if they were ready they nicely asked me to wait then took my order, no problem or accusation. It is not right for the employee to take it out on the patron because they are short-staffed. The whole incident could have been avoided if she just said "sorry there will be a delay in us getting...

The worst Wendy’s in the US maybe the world. I have had the displeasure of living close to this Excuse for a Wendy’s. If I place an order I already know it will be wrong and take forever like forever. The last experience I will ever have at this Wendy’s was I pulled up at around 9 pm sat for a minute finally someone got on the intercom and informed me they would be closed for the next 15 minutes. Other experiences include missing Items wrong items and I once pulled up at 10:30pm, I believe they closed at 11, I sat there with one person in front of me. I bet your wondering why I would wait in line so long well as I mentioned before that is nothing unusual for this location that is seriously how terrible it really is like it’s so so bad. Then I finally get to the com and they tell me they are closed... Done luckily there is another Wendy’s 11 minutes farther from my house but so worth it and it’s actually faster that going to this poor excuse for a fast food restaurant.
