Horrible Experience - Beware of This Location
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Taco Bell location. As a vegetarian, I was appalled to find beef in my Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries, which I had specifically ordered without meat. This is not just a dietary preference for me but a matter of personal and religious significance.
When I returned to the store to address the mistake, I was met with shocking indifference. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, a staff member handed me a replacement box in the most disrespectful manner, without any apology or acknowledgment of the mistake.
When I insisted on speaking to a manager, I was eventually met by an older lady named Sammy, who was extremely rude and dismissive. She threw the replacement box into the trash without even listening to my concerns and accused me of lying about the beef, claiming it was beans instead. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply insulting.
I asked for a refund, which led to further confrontation. Sammy initially denied my request and asked me to come back in the morning to speak with David, who I assume is the manager. When I insisted on receiving my refund immediately, she reluctantly gave me a $5 bill but not without more threats and curses, even threatening to call the sheriff on me.
This experience has left me feeling disrespected and unheard. It's unacceptable for any customer to be treated this way, especially when it concerns dietary restrictions and religious beliefs. I urge others to be cautious and double-check their orders if they decide to visit this location.
This level of negligence and rudeness should not be tolerated in any business. I hope this review serves as a warning and encourages the management to address these...
Read moreMeet the manager of night shift...she is 55 years old but yew would swear she is only 20 by the way she wears her hat backwards, she loves long nights of huffing and puffing, she's a compulsive liar, She EXCELS in horrible customer service, and fellas be careful with this gal, she is so sensitive, that if she gets called out for lying or yew call her a name...she will call the cops she hopes to someday find someone, who is just as miserable as she is and hopes he takes fighting crime in the drive thru just as serious as she does. I should have read my last review. Please save the employees the trouble, and move on to the next Taco Bell. This location still must have staffing problems. Orders take an extremely long time to fill. Get more than two customers and things grind to a halt. In addition, even though I had the proper number of items in the bag, we were substituted a plain, half filled taco for a $5 Gordita Crunch. My kid was disappointed, but I suggested that it was actually the Taco Bell crew serving lessons in disappointment. My lesson is simply not to return and to tell everyone I know to do the same.
2021 October
This Fields-Ertel location is understaffed. As I was stuck in the drive-though line, I got a chance to read the current (August through October 2021) Google reviews stating as such.
After my 20 minute ride from the ordering speaker to the pay/pickup window, I met the sole person working in the restaurant. The poor woman had to take orders, make the food, and then work the window. She would then do it all over again for the next unsuspecting customer in line. If there had been a way to get my car out of the drive-through without going over a curb, I would have.
