Horrible Experience - Beware of This Location

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Taco Bell location. As a vegetarian, I was appalled to find beef in my Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries, which I had specifically ordered without meat. This is not just a dietary preference for me but a matter of personal and religious significance.

When I returned to the store to address the mistake, I was met with shocking indifference. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, a staff member handed me a replacement box in the most disrespectful manner, without any apology or acknowledgment of the mistake.

When I insisted on speaking to a manager, I was eventually met by an older lady named Sammy, who was extremely rude and dismissive. She threw the replacement box into the trash without even listening to my concerns and accused me of lying about the beef, claiming it was beans instead. Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also deeply insulting.

I asked for a refund, which led to further confrontation. Sammy initially denied my request and asked me to come back in the morning to speak with David, who I assume is the manager. When I insisted on receiving my refund immediately, she reluctantly gave me a $5 bill but not without more threats and curses, even threatening to call the sheriff on me.

This experience has left me feeling disrespected and unheard. It's unacceptable for any customer to be treated this way, especially when it concerns dietary restrictions and religious beliefs. I urge others to be cautious and double-check their orders if they decide to visit this location.

This level of negligence and rudeness should not be tolerated in any business. I hope this review serves as a warning and encourages the management to address these...

Meet the manager of night shift...she is 55 years old but yew would swear she is only 20 by the way she wears her hat backwards, she loves long nights of huffing and puffing, she's a compulsive liar, She EXCELS in horrible customer service, and fellas be careful with this gal, she is so sensitive, that if she gets called out for lying or yew call her a name...she will call the cops she hopes to someday find someone, who is just as miserable as she is and hopes he takes fighting crime in the drive thru just as serious as she does. She could care less about drive thru times nor does she care about the 20 customers who are now stuck because she LOVES being unprofessional, slamming windows in customers face and refusing to give refunds. She stomps off with her and folded like a toddler when she pouts and it's to die for! She's selfish and her employees adore her so much and feel so bad for her, so they just shrug and mouth apologies to the customer sitting, waiting for a refund, for a grand total of 1 hour and 8 mins ... (Customers 3rd time going back through to get order fixed) and she thrives at making big deals out of nothing. She hopes to someday be the employee of the year or make it to the big leagues and be in a top corporate position...let's hear it for the night shift manager at taco bell on Fields Ertel Rd in Cincinnati!!! 🎇🎆🎊🎉🎈🎇🎆🎈🎷🎺🪕 If this sounds like your type of gal...someone ..please ANYONE, come sweep her right off her miserable, aching feet ... before someone else knocks her off her feet for being so unlovable. Number not available because she don't answer that phone that has rang 48 times in a row because she canceled 10-15 door dash orders because one customer wanted her food made correctly. Serious...

UPDATE: 2024 MAY

I should have read my last review. Please save the employees the trouble, and move on to the next Taco Bell. This location still must have staffing problems. Orders take an extremely long time to fill. Get more than two customers and things grind to a halt. In addition, even though I had the proper number of items in the bag, we were substituted a plain, half filled taco for a $5 Gordita Crunch. My kid was disappointed, but I suggested that it was actually the Taco Bell crew serving lessons in disappointment. My lesson is simply not to return and to tell everyone I know to do the same.

2021 October

This Fields-Ertel location is understaffed. As I was stuck in the drive-though line, I got a chance to read the current (August through October 2021) Google reviews stating as such.

After my 20 minute ride from the ordering speaker to the pay/pickup window, I met the sole person working in the restaurant. The poor woman had to take orders, make the food, and then work the window. She would then do it all over again for the next unsuspecting customer in line. If there had been a way to get my car out of the drive-through without going over a curb, I would have.

Franchise owner. Close this location for a while if you can't staff it. You generate nothing but a record of bad customer experiences by...

Not sure if it's always like this or just for my particular visit today. Food was good. Dining room relatively clean and well stocked. But service is lacking. Had to wait long time. Orders coming out very slow, and lots of confusion on whose order is whose. Its not even during rush hours. I've been watching every car in the drive through need to pull around front, wait, and have their order brought out to them. I think if the staff just put a little pep in their step and paid closer attention to the orders things would be much better... for them, and us.
