One evening I all of the sudden got a craving for tacos, and googled the nearest tacos to me, and this place came up. Me and my girlfriend visited here one evening and got the Gauncho burrito and some steak tacos and some chicken tacos. I was advised it would be a while because they were low on steak, but to my surprise, it was actually very quick.

I will say, the tacos are very average. Just some meat with onion and cilantro. I am sure youre now wondering "Then why did you give 5 stars still?" I am doing so because the burritos are that amazing. I am so happy I decided to try a burrito, because we came here again, and I got the curry burrito this time, and it is like something ive never had before, and their loaded fries, which I would say are seasoned to perfection, are also amazing.

Also the staff is super amazing and nice. I instantly almost felt like friends with the woman working there, and it was even more so the 2nd time. I also enjoyed their sauces so much, that I got an 8oz container of the Inca sauce, some of the best sauce ive had also, but you have to love cilantro lol.

So TLDR, I wouldn't recommend going here for the tacos, but the burritos and loaded fries are probably the best ive ever had, or close to. They are very unique, and full of great flavor! Also the staff is amazing and...

Ol' Skool "Cali Style Mexican" in Syracuse, Utah – 5 Stars All Damn Day!

Okay, listen up, foodies and flavor junkies—because this place is IT.

My husband and I just tried Ol' Skool, and I’m telling you right now: RUN, don’t walk. He got the OG Burrito and I went with the OG Bowl, and holy hell—we were both looking at each other like, “Did we just find our new favorite spot?”

First off, the flavor? Slaps. Perfect balance of bold, fresh, and straight-up delicious. You can taste that Cali vibe in every bite. They’re not messing around—this is real-deal, soul-hugging comfort food with a West Coast twist.

Prices? Totally reasonable. We walked out full, happy, and not broke—hallelujah. Atmosphere? Chill AF. Cool vibe, clean space, and the kind of place you actually want to hang out in, not just grab-and-go. Service? So damn friendly. Like, talk-to-you-like-they-actually-care kind of friendly.

If you’re local (or even if you’re not), do yourself a favor and hit up Ol’ Skool. It’s got that laid-back Cali flavor, Utah heart, and food that’ll have you dreaming about your next visit before you even leave the parking lot.

We’ll definitely be back—probably...

Ol’ Skool Restaurant is a refreshing haven for burrito lovers. The use of fresh ingredients and a commitment to high-quality food sets this place apart. Every bite is a testament to their dedication to excellence.

The menu offers a tantalizing variety of burritos, satisfying both traditional and adventurous palates. Each ingredient is carefully chosen, resulting in an explosion of flavors and textures that leave you wanting more.

The Gaucho burrito features succulent steak, perfectly cooked fries, tangy chimichurri sauce, onions, and a delightful crema. Each component was prepared with utmost care, resulting in a harmonious symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds. What impressed me the most was the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The steak was tender and juicy, the fries were crispy, and the chimichurri sauce added a burst of zesty goodness. The addition of onions and crema elevated the burrito to another level of deliciousness.

Don’t miss the opportunity to savor the outstanding burritos at Ol’ Skool Restaurant. They truly care about their food quality, making it a must-visit for any...

I've been to some California taco shops before and these guys definitely nailed the atmosphere pretty much perfectly, also the style of food is pretty much the same as well. The food is great, burritos are really really good and the fries are pretty tasty. I think the biggest negative of this place is there are only bottled drinks here which is a bummer cause I drink a lot when I eat fries and I ran out of drink unfortunately :(. Also kind of pricey. For my wife and I we got two little burritos and a fry and two drinks and after tip it was over 40 dollars. I think next time we go (definitely will be going back) probably just order a fry to share cause it's huge or each just get a little burrito each. Like I said, atmosphere and food are really good so come here if you like some good Cali style Mexican!

Where do I begin? The food is absolutely fantastic! We got the burrito of the month (so cal burrito), some loaded fries, and churros with salted caramel. Everything was on point and we were happy with every single bite! The chorizo inside the burrito was so flavorful, the loaded fries were on point with a decently sized scoop of guacamole, and the churros were the best I’ve ever had. We tried 3 different sauces and they all were fantastic! We just wish the sauce containers were a little bigger. We want more! When we walked out of there, we were already planning our next visit. This is going to be our new go-to spot for delicious food! Great food and great people make for a wonderful experience! We’ll be back!
