I went to this place last week and I purchased the island time smoothie and the everything avocado toast. Alongside my friend who ordered a matcha and a ham sandwich. The smoothie was watery and didn’t have much flavor, avocado toast had thin layer of smashed avocado with no flavor and giant slices of cucumber and everything but the bagel seasoning on a non toasted piece of bread. My total was $18 which I felt was a little overpriced. My friend’s matcha turned out to be very bad quality matcha, it was watery. The ham sandwich had mayo and barely any pieces of ham also with non toasted pieces of bread. The sandwich was described to be a hot sandwich in the menu but it was very much cold. Everything is overpriced and not worth the trip the food you can make better at home. I am writing after the owner has responded to my review and is asking me to delete it. She writes she was very friendly but that was not the case, she was very passive aggressive. I understand they were busy and I was very patient while waiting. She was very cold (like her food) but I understand she can get stressed by being busy. I am being completely honest with my review and I will NOT delete. I am an advocator for supporting small businesses but her response was not very professional and I will not be coming back! My belly was...

However, I am only giving a three-star rating because I was incredibly disappointed to see Herbalife bars sold there. For those who are not familiar with this company, Herbalife is a multilevel marketing (MLM), or network marketing, or direct sales marketing company that preys on vulnerable populations through the guise that they can lose weight and make money by selling their product, and then recruiting other people below them to do the same thing (a fancy pyramid scheme, if you will). I won't go into why MLMs are inherently evil (I suggest doing a quick Google search), but there is some great information out there on why Herbalife in particular is trash: 1) Check out the documentary "Betting on Zero", which can be found on Netflix. 2) Watch John Oliver's skit on Multilevel Marketing. 3) Listen to "The Dream" podcast. 4) Read news articles and editorials about the company, and fall down a rabbit-hole of Reddit threads.
Upon removal of Herbalife products, I would be happy to give Happy Belly a five...
Read moreFirst off, $19 for a simple small breakfast burrito (no side) and a tea is too expensive.
Continuing, the service was very sub par. I waited to order while the two employees had a personal chat while they just looked at me waiting.
The country music was so loud and obnoxious I had to put my noise canceling headphones in to eat my meal in semi peace.
The breakfast wrap couldn't be customized to add the veg egg which made it not much of a sandwich. The breakfast wrap was mostly lettuce, so it wasn't very good. I was asked if I wanted hot sauce and told there was a choice of Sriracha or their homemade sauce. I opted for the homemade not realizing I would be charged (50 cents only), but the sauce was actually a sweet "hot" sauce that overly sweet and not hot at all. Once I was leaving I saw there was a variety of available free hot sauces (tabasco style) on the counter that she could have pointed out.
There is only 1 menu on the wall which causes a crowd and a lot of...
