Worst experience I’ve had at a chick-fil-a. Made an order online. The guy asked for a name we told him and he proceeded to ask what we were ordering. I tried to inform him we attempted to order online, at which point he cut me off and said “that’s ok I can just take you order.” I said “no, we tried to order and it went through and we paid, but said something went wrong. Can you see if it went through?” At which point he pulls up the order no problem. I then ask about an item which is available to order online and whether or not he could add it to the order. He proceeded to tell me he would check and had us pull forward. During the time he was checking with his coworker standing next to him both of them were turned away from the car and I heard one of them say “why does everyone want the plush cow?” With their backs still turned I said “because it’s available on your website” they then turned around and informed me they were sold out. I was disappointed they not only did not have the item they advertised as available, but their customer service was so bad I didn’t even acknowledge the guy when he said sorry. I wouldn’t have felt the way I had if they had refrained from making unnecessary comments and remained talkative/cordial while we were waiting for them to check. When we got to the front I tried to ask the lady at the window if the plush cow was an online only thing and was ignored the first time or simply not heard as her back was facing us while she waited to give us our order. She turned to give us our order and I asked again frustrated and not sure if she had a problem hearing me the first time I spoke quite loudly. She said she “[wasn’t] sure, but she thought they were sold out.” I told her she should let management know it’s still available to order online and she said she’d let them know. I worked in food service for a long time and normally I wouldn’t leave such a review, but I just wanted management to see this to be able to show their team what they can work on. Body language makes a difference when you’re potentially going to disappoint someone with what you have to say. Also, the commentary made me feel misjudged for wanting a plush toy for my 4...
Read moreI was NOT IMPRESSED with the service, because they did not know how to manage when they had made a mistake. They are used to getting it right, hearing praise. I am a praiser by nature so this is uncomfortable but needs to be said. They have never messed up before, in the maybe 50 times I have driven through. But, I gotta say I would be doing the company a disservice if I didn't report the truth. The current group is not being trained properly and the reputation has been affected. I took two friends for their first ChicFila sandwich and the 4 people who were to be taking orders were huddled together when it was my turn. Eventually I just pulled forward in order to let the line get out of the alley, right? Well, America came and took my order and payment and sent me forward. And I now I figured out why they got my order wrong, no one double-checked on the way to the window. There were now 5 people outside, BTW. So, I left without even counting sandwiches because I was confident the order was correct. The birthday girl did not have a sandwich in the bag when we got to the mall.😑 She really wanted to shop so I said we'll go back when we leave and get our sandwich. It was so ridiculous, I don't even want to relive this but I have to say it I was asked more than FIVE TIMES, what had happened. I just needed 1 sandwich, I assumed that they had a protocol for this. I can only assume by the rest of my experience at Chick-fil-A that they do have a respectful, customer satisfaction based protocol. That did not occur for me, on Saturday @ 8:30pm with 4 teenagers in the car. And it took 10 minutes, once PARKED to correct my order. I went in and verbalized my feedback. I was not impressed with the response, or compensation for my time and...
Read moreI normally love the service here, and the food is good. I am very frustrated and won't go back because of water. I enjoy ice water and don't normally mind paying extra for ice water. I went to the Chick Fil A Tacoma by TCC and ordered a breakfast meal for my drink I asked for ice water. When I got to the window I was handed a child size cup. I stated that I had ordered a meal, and asked if that was the size that came with it. I was told that it was a free size and if I wanted ice water I would have to pay an additional 0.37 cents. I started to get annoyed when I asked if I requested a soda would I get a larger cup and she said yes. I then asked her to ring up soda and fill my cup with water instead. She told me that she couldn't do that, but I could have soda if I wanted. At this point it was very frustrating because I wasn't asking for a larger water, I wasn't asking for bottled water, I was asking for the size cup that came with my meal to be filled with ice water. I asked for the manager and she told me she was the manager. At that point I decided that it wasn't worth it, I requested to have my money back and left. It is crazy to me that ice water cannot be a drink option here. There are several fast food restaurants surrounding this particular location and I get ice water with all my meals, in the normal size cup that comes with the requested meal. I didn't want anything for free, I wasn't ordering a specialty drink, I ordered a meal and it should have come with the right size water. Horrible...
