The Coffee Oasis — Restaurant in Tacoma

I once worked here and had a decent experience. Overall the company has a very good cause, one that I actually benefitted from. When I first started the manager who trained me was a great leader, very efficient and made sure we were stocked up. However since he had left the manager who took over was the absolute opposite, that manager has since left. Overall the food and drink is top tier, my main complaint is that the tips do NOT go to the baristas, which was clear upon employment, that's not the issue, the issue I have is upon paying you have a "tip" jar and if you pay with card you are presented with a screen that says the word "tip". The correct word should be donations as all proceeds again go to the youth shelter. Only other complaint I have is there is very limited parking. Other than that great shop...
