The only thing that was actually "warmer" was the Pub Fries, everything else was not. (I actually had to microwave the fries to melt the cheese and microwave my chili.) My husband paid with his debit card and was given his receipt. At 1705 my husband called me asking if I had seen his debit card because he was sitting at Winco with a cart of groceries and NO debit card. I said last place it was used was at Wendys, so naturally I called. I literally called NINE TIMES with NO ANSWER. Every time I called I let it ring and ring and ring and ring...NOTHING. I called back for the TENTH TIME and finally got an answer. I mentioned the debit card and the person on the phone relayed it to someone else and I could hear the other person say that he didn't have it. The person got back on the phone and before he could say anything I cut him off, said it was last night, told him the bank, gave him verbal visual of the card and the name on it. His immediate response was "Yes it's here". I said "thank you, my husband is on his way" and "Goodbye". My husband shows up there, 2 cars in drive thru, a couple people inside eating, a manager and 3 employees sitting in the lobby and a couple of kids behind the counter not doing much of anything. My husband asked about the debit card and the sitting manager questioned if one of the employees still had it. My husband was shocked and upset that the employee had actually pulled his debit card from his SHIRT POCKET! Wow people!! This is completely INAPPROPRIATE and totally UNACCEPTABLE to do. (What if said employee had an emergency and had to leave... forgetting that the debit card was in this pocket?? I know from personal experience that nothing is secure in a shirt pocket. The "what ifs" are endless on this, but the fact is that this is 110% UNACCEPTABLE! PERIOD!!!!! I took the neglect of answering the phone as they were busy for their "dinner rush". My husband told me that there was absolutely no obvious reasoning for it. We've NEVER had a cashier fail to return a debit card after a quick swipe and a receipt pull that took under 15 seconds. We won't be risking it again. This entire experience was hell. It's the LAST one we'll ever have...
Read moreThere were so many cars in their drive thru tonight. We really had to wait quite a long time. However, I know it's been hard for some places to find workers, so though I am disappointed and frustrated I had to wait for so long, I felt a 3 was an appropriate rating. If they can't find workers, then managers and store owners should be working some shifts too. I am a big believer in "many hands make light work," and a manager or owner shouldn't be "too good," to work any shift. The owners should be trying to keep customers happy and coming back, so if they need to work a graveyard shift because they can't find quakers, then so be it. Food was good and staff was friendly though I am sure they were frustrated and felt rushed. Good job! Update: I ordered a large frosty and large strawberry lemonade. The girl filled the lemonade half with drink then dumped 2 scoops of ice filling the rest of the cup. Then I realized it wasn't a large and asked if it was a large she said,"no, you ordered a small." I told her I ordered a large and she said you only paid for a small. I asked if I could pay the difference from a small to a large and she said you could buy another drink and I wasn't about to spend another $3 on a cup half full of ice. Not happy with their...
Read moreI've always thought Wendy's has 2 things that makes it better than most any other fast food restaurant; The chocolate frosty compared to any milk shake, and how you can still get chicken nuggets during breakfast time. You just have to wait 5 min. I went to the Wendy's on 72nd first, and I was the only one in the drive-through. The lady said they don't do chicken nuggets in until 10. I told her that I've done it before multiple times, and she just immediately argued with me. She did not believe me. Instead of asking a manager, she disrespectfully just didn't believe me. I went to go inside to speak to a supervisor, and the lobby wasn't open yet. So I had to postpone my breakfast. I later went to the Wendy's on Steele St just over an hour later. I asked for the same thing and was told I have to wait till 10:30. I asked for a supervisor and was told I was talking to one. I got him to admit to being allowed to do this, but he said I had to come inside and order it. I asked why I couldn't just order it in the drive-through and wait out front or come in after, since I'm already stuck in the drive-through. He said it's easier if I just come in. I don't know how in the world that could possibly be easier. So I've been viewed as a liar...
