I used to eat at this location at least 3 times a week, wether it was a quick drop in for appetizers and a drink, desert and a drink, a call in order or the full sha-bang with a dine in experience. Previously when I used to eat here regularly the staff knew me and my husband by name and would basically have everything ready for us moments after walking in the door. The old manager was extremely friendly and always there for her customers and striving for excellent customer service. The last time I went there (1 month ago), it was a disaster. The service was horrible and the most non-personable experience I have EVER had in my entire life, I went in for a typical and as usually timely dinning experience and 2 hours later I finally finish my appetizer, meal, desert and drinks, this was not due to me being a slow eater tho, this was due to unprofessional wait staff, along side poor management. They were more worried about chatting it up and fleeting while in the “front of the house” my meal was out before my appetizer and I did not even receive my drinks until my meal was brought, on top of that the food delivered was not even what I ordered, the meal was correct but the way it was to be made was not correct and the sides were wrong. I asked for the manager and attempted to tell them about the poor dining experience and was quickly cut off shortly after beginning the conversation and was told “As you can see we are extremely busy” I looked around and only seen 2 small sections open and a total of 10 tables sat. I got know where as you could imagine. I am not sure if I was treated so poorly due to being gay and trying to have a nice evening with my husband or if it was just a coincidence that I came in on a night with terrible staff and management or if maybe EVERY ONE of the staff were just having a bad day. Regardless there is NEVER any excuse to treat any customer the way I was treated. I will not eat at this location if any location again unless this issue is corrected, I have tried calling the store on multiple occasions to speak with a different member of management and have yet to get anywhere. So I truly hope that a member of management is told about this review and made to resolve the issue because I LOVED my Chili’s and am beyond upset I am no longer as I feel “welcomed” into the store to receive the upmost respectful and pleasant dinning experience anyone would expect to receive. So if the issue is resolved I will be more that happy to update and resolve my review. Otherwise I will continue to warn others of this store and my experience and will continue to write...
Read moreTypical Shop of this chain restaurant but way below the standards of other shops. Ever since the new menu and the new computers on tables the food has become more prepared commissary style food which is heat and serve or fry and serve. Temperature of food was like warm and felt undercooked. Used to be chili’s would serve up grilled fajitas and they would sizzle and smoke which added not only presentation and flair to a simple grilled fish but now it comes out and he chicken has no grill marks. White and flabby on top of soft mushy precooked and stored in a pan onions and peppers. No sizzle. Food on floor and on booth from previous diners and when asked to have it cleaned up before sitting we were handed a servers wet bar rag to wipe it up ourselves. This is something a guest should not have to do but staff. Manager when told about food and cleanliness at end of meal, for a bit defensive saying they food is normal and she would remake it for us but it was way too late at the end of meal to have them fire a new on on fly. Better to offer to comp the app or offer a sweet etc but nothing was offered. The locals will keep going here because they don’t know better and the staff will continue to just be meh because management doesn’t care. Horrible. Tahlequah chili’s needs to be gutted. Cleaned. Remodeled and then new management brought in who have standards and...
Read moreChili's can be good or not so good depending. On what, I'm not sure, the cook? I like the rib eye, usually, but sometimes it is over cooked and tough and stringy like someone was trying to save money on a poor quality piece of meat. That is not the norm but it has happened more than once over the years. They make a darn good chicken fried steak. If you think Del Ranchos sets the standard you would be wrong. I was. Del Ranchos chicken fried steak is really good but Chili's is better, thicker. And unfortunately, Del Ranchos puts Miracle Whip on their sandwich, not real mayonnaise, which ruins it for me. But that's just me. Okay, I strayed a little off topic. Chili's makes great mixed drinks and their Southwestern Eggroll appetizers are fantastic! Their loaded mashed potatoes are quite tasty, as well. Their steamed broccoli is really good. It would be even better with melted butter. It's hard to get it served that way, though. Probably the food I find the most disappointing, is their rice. It is dry and not very flavorful, unless chemical is a flavor and I guess it is but not a good one. The flavor is not natural. I am not sure how to explain it. I think it must be bought frozen with chemical additives already in it. It does not appear to have even a hint of, this is homemade. I've never had worse. If you could fix the rice it would definitely...
