20 years ago the Tahlequah mc donalds was the number one grossing store in the state of Oklahoma. I know this because I trained there it was my first job, because I trained there when I did I have been able to get hired on with any store in this state. The night before last I had my first complaint ever in 20 years because working mainly fast food myself I know exactly what the job is like we get enough meaningless crap on a daily basis. Now this store is under new ownership who I have also worked under and the new rules are phenomenal to bad the ones they leave in charge of what once was the best store in the state is now a sad shadow of what it used to be. Now being an employee i have eaten some questionable fries after work but the ones we had originally paid for that night wers hands down the worst I have ever tasted had to have been just sitting somewhere while they were cleaning the fry station. Because i have done this long enough i know. So i come back pull up to the window and wait 5 minutes with no one bothering to see whats wrong. Lobby was already closed and they should be thankful, especially the hickey covered red headed pathetic ass excuse of a manager. Since i have worked in this store i know the manager on duty answers the phone so since no would bother to come to the window I call she answers i tell her im at the first pick up window because they have 2 that are clearly numbered 1 and 2 and i need a manager she says i am the manager i said honey i know i have worked here i know you answer the phone its why i called now we have an issue will you come to pick up 1 she says can you just tell me. I said ma'am i would love to as soon as you come to the window. So she hangs up and goes to window 2 ok moron. No one is there so then she gets it, and comes to window one i tell her those fries are unacceptable and i dont do this because i work fast food but they need to replace those fries. They tell us it will be 51 more seconds before they are done, look i ain't waiting 12 minutes for pie but i got 3 minutes for decent fries considering its literally the most popular product sold there. Now when she brings back the unsalted half orders of fries shes even ruder than she was before she was told her the issue which wouldnt have been an issue had she done her job in the first place. The fries arent in a bag she doesnt apologize and slams the window. When i worked for this management team i decided it would be the last time i work for that location now i wont be a customer there either.
For those asking to call a store theirs in named Jodie and shes the worst GM i ever worked for dont call her call the McDonald's training office in muskogee or the store on shawnees and ask for districts number. I asked twice..."is it sweet tea?" They say yes both times...but it's unsweetened. My orders rnt long...just a couple of combo meals...so I can only assume, they don't listen very well when ur ordering...they don't know the restaurants menu...their rushed or they simply don't care. But it doesn't take much time to double check an order when it's brought to their attention. Some workers will do that....and some won't. Will I continue to go there? Sure I will. But I've learned to ALWAYS check my order before I leave the drive thru. (It's only when I've been thru the drive thru that my order gets messed up.) When I dine in...my order is always right.
Stopped in to grab lunch (11-13-2023). My daughter and I placed r order..the lady taking r order got it all messed up. We gave her the benefit of the doubt bcuz it was getting crowded and she may have been getting overwhelmed. We finally got r order straightened out. It was no big deal...but this lady's attitude as we was leaving could have been a little better. My daughter was waiting for a refill of her drink and this lady totally ignored her for several long minutes. I thought she was angry, but feigning niceness. Idk if she got in any trouble for messing up r order or not....and there were others she messed up besides ours...but she may have been taking her anger out on us. Idk. Ā Ā Ā Read moreEven tho they have a tendency of getting food wrong and sometimes having issues with giving you Your order, that i know of from first hand they will try to make it right if you calmly explain to them with a receipt, sometimes don't need one, and they'll actually do whatever is right to make it up to you. (sometimes they do have crabky staff so be aware of thatš) I know sometimes it could be difficult to not yell at them especially if they completely didnt listen or got your order wrong but please keep this in mind. If the person your wanting to yell at or complain to isnt the one who took your order or made it then are you any more of a person of that of a Karen? (Karen AKA angry, irrational, I Hate Everything/Everyone NOT anyone with the name Karen, just wanna be clear, not pointing towards Anyone in particular) Be the better person and I can almost 110% guarantee they will do almost whatever it takes to make you happy and or satisfied. Also be sure to always have the receipt up to 3 days in case for whatever reason you got sick after eating there food so youll have proof you bought food frok them at a given day so they can be aware of how long ago you bought it exc.
