Rude racist people work here! (Didn’t see any white person working during the night I was there, don’t know what’s going on during the day there as I do not frequent this location). I do not recommend this location to anyone. Their drive thru person rudely told me that my online salad order couldn’t be served, because they had run out of almost all food and could only serve fries… when I asked to cancel the order for a refund, she said they couldn’t do it, and that I had to cancel it myself through the app. I responded that I have tried cancelling already, and that that there was no such option to cancel the order in the app. I explained that it just becomes your past order once placed and paid for, with no option to cancel and get a refund. So I requested that they cancel it on their end, as it wasn’t my fault they couldn’t fulfill it, and expressed that I didn’t think I should be made to waste hours of my time calling corporate office in order to get a refund of the order the store couldn’t fill. She responded that I had to call the corporate still… so I expressed that if I were to do that, it would just look like I had placed an order and received it, or never showed up for it, then called requesting a refund 🤷🏻♂️so I asked her for a paper receipt of my order showing that it was placed but couldn’t be filled, so I would have some proof that I was there to pick it up. She said they couldn’t give me any receipt… so I asked why they couldn’t cancel the order on their end and why they couldn’t give a receipt, and was just told to call corporate again, with no explanation, but with a lot of bad attitude…Nobody apologized for the lack of food, or the inconvenience caused by their inability to fulfill my order, but whoever I spoke with acted rude and dismissive. Before leaving the drive thru, I told the drive thru “lady” that she needed to be trained in customer service, to which she responded “yo momma do”…. I went to speak to the manager on duty, but she was as rude and dismissive as the employee at the drive thru (both were telling me they were the store managers at the same time, one on the phone, the other on the drive through speaker). This has made me feel like I was just being harassed by a bunch of Whataburger employees that all claimed to be the managers). First, their drive through employee insulted me and my mother, then the “manager” hung up on me when I called. Then when I came to the store, the “manager” (she had the top of her hair dyed orange and wore no name tag) claimed that she had to attend to other customers, and acted like she didn’t have the time to listen to my complain. The manager apparently chose to protect her “buddy” employee and just kept demanding that I leave the store, instead of actively listening to my complain and taking appropriate action. She acted unprofessionally, disrespectfully and dismissive, which has made me feel like I was just being harassed by the next Whataburger employee. As the manager acted so unprofessionally, I have made several attempts to leave the store, but every time I would start going towards the exit door, the “manager” would mumble something nasty about me, making employees near her laugh 🤷🏻♂️ (so much for the manager, very ill-mannered person, and so much for the other employees also). So I went back to my car in their parking lot, and while I was on the phone with 911 and Whataburger corporate office, the police showed up, because apparently the “manager” had called 911 on me for “trespassing”… I do not recommend this place to anyone… I request that the employee that had the audacity to mention my ill mother in her miserable hatred spew (“your momma do”) as well as the manager that chose to protect that employee, be let go immediately! This kind of harassment of customers should not be tolerated by any business, especially not a Whataburger location! I would like to remind Whataburger employees in this location that you can be sued personally for your conduct on the job! If you are so mean and toxic, maybe you shouldn’t be in...
Read moreMy experience today here was phenomenal. I've always liked the food at Whataburger and the atmosphere is usually pretty good because people are always happy behind the counter. The workers are usually so busy that they cannot be too cordial, however, today was a different situation. The manager Etsee (wrong spelling)was extremely helpful when I needed something out of the ordinary. She went above and beyond her duties as a manager and helped me with a smile. Please give her a raise (HR), she deserves it! A worker named Jeremiah heard that I needed help when I was speaking to the manager. Then he stepped up without any hesitation. He said, said "I'll help him." That he did ...God bless him. Also, there was an employee at the very end of my stay that just happened to pop up and say " Hey, would you like (this) and it just happened to be what I needed. It was amazing. She is Ayona. And I must say she didn't know I was a seven star Google reviewer and yet she still also happily helped me. They all did this with a smile. I would recommend this restaurant on Lake Bradford Road in Tallahassee to my family. I would recommend it to my friends as well as the general public reading this. Stop down there and maybe not on the lunch rush but, in the late afternoon or early evening and just hang out and watch these guys do their work with a smile. It is refreshing to see good people enjoy wst they do now-a-days. By the way, as an ex third shift manager, I realized that these guys were doing their side work and I didn't hear once that the manager had to ask them to do it. I just noticed it. Great job all the way around. Kudos. I rarely give five stars all the way around. These people and the...
Read moreI went inside Whataburger to grab a quick breakfast on the go...there were at least 12 employees behind the counter scuttling about, refilling cups and lids and straws and chatting and propped up on the counter having conversations and NO ONE found the time to say HI, how are you, or welcome, be right with you. Even tho most of them looked squarely into my face. After perhaps 10 or 15 minutes of me standing there at the register (next to a manager who was laughing it up with a guy who had already been served and now was just in the way) a young associate recognized that I had been waiting there patiently and she told the woman who was manning the registers, You have a customer waiting, to which the woman never even glanced my direction but mumbled, ..Oh I can't help him....blah blah blah blah. At this point I put away my debit card and walked to the restroom because at that point I realized I would not be served. The young associate did offer an apology earlier, which I noted and did appreciate. I think this lack of service should...
