It's perfectly serviceable, probably healthy-ish food. I'm glad it's near the university so that kids have easy access to decent nutrition. But honestly, that's about all I felt it has going for it. I was able to customize a bowl to work with my limited Low-histamine/vegan/food allergies diet, but for the price, it just wasn't remarkable in any way. Additionally, I had ordered two entrée bowls ahead, but when we arrived it was unclear where to pick up our food, and one staff member seemed to be getting ready to hand me a smoothie bowl instead. Upon further investigation, they hadn't started our actual order despite having a good 20+ minutes of time before we got there, and a totally dead restaurant when we arrived. They did do a good job communicating together and working quickly to prepare the food once the mistake was discovered, so that helped raise the rating. The location was decorated in a cute and trendy way, and I can picture it being a fun place to hang out after classes, especially if the smoothie bowls are any good. It's worth noting that there are three different kinds of seating available (couch, stools, hardback chairs) for those with specific medical needs. Over all, it wasn't a great first experience, so I doubt we'll make the trip back over unless we're with someone who is very enthusiastic about it...but I'm not saying I refuse to give it another try. For now, my money is on healthy, flavorful, and balanced Zoe's Kitchen for being the more exciting and worthwhile choice with above average staff.

What a HUGE disappointment! I ordered online and the ordering process was a nightmare only because I was trying to handle my toddler at the same time while also being forced to “sign up” to place an order . Then I get the food and they were out of everything but before calling me to tell me, i get a bowl filled with stuff I dont want. They were out of avocado, out of the black bean/chickpea, out of the vinaigrette/ their payment system was down so I couldn’t get a refund, i got nasty onion-filled guacamole on my bowl and I didn’t want that because I hate onions, haha! The quinoa was cooked so poorly it was crunchy (see pic) I 10000000% DO NOT recommend this place and I’m bummed it cost me so much to basically throw a bowl away that I dont want. I will eat most of it because I dont waste food and I know I sound like a “karen” but this is not how a business should be run. The food doesn’t taste good either. The sweet potatoes still taste raw and crunchy quinoa is inedible. It’s poorly made. We’ll be going to playa bowls for smoothie bowls instead of here. Just bummed. The staff were nice though. Street parking.

Vale Food Co., located in the heart of Tallahassee, offers an exceptional dining experience, focusing on fresh ingredients and health-conscious dishes that truly stand out. The moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a bright and welcoming atmosphere, which perfectly reflects their commitment to wholesome, clean eating.

One of the standout aspects of Vale is the incredible quality of the ingredients they use. Everything feels farm-to-table fresh, from the crisp greens in their signature bowls to the perfectly grilled proteins. The variety of fresh vegetables, grains, and protein options allow you to create a balanced meal packed with nutrients and vibrant flavors.

Their build-your-own bowl concept is perfect for anyone seeking a customizable, healthy meal. I tried the base of kale salad, topped with sweet potatoes, chickpeas, and quinoa, complemented by perfectly seasoned grilled chicken. Each ingredient was fresh and bursting with flavor. The roasted sweet potatoes were soft and caramelized, adding a perfect sweetness, while the quinoa added a hearty, earthy texture.

The freshness extends to their dressings and sauces as well. The cilantro lime dressing I selected was tangy and aromatic, adding a zesty kick without overpowering the natural flavors of the ingredients. For those who appreciate a bit of heat, their spicy sriracha sauce is an absolute must—balanced enough to bring the fire without drowning out the subtleties of the dish.

What sets Vale apart is their dedication to creating meals that are not just healthy, but genuinely satisfying. Whether you’re following a specific dietary plan or just looking for a nutritious meal, Vale Food Co. makes it easy to eat well without sacrificing flavor. Every bowl feels thoughtfully crafted, from the texture combinations to the generous portion sizes.

Vale Food Co. is a standout option for anyone in Tallahassee looking to enjoy delicious, fresh, and healthy food. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a place that embodies the idea that eating well doesn’t have to be a compromise. Whether you're stopping by for a quick lunch or a nourishing dinner, Vale delivers a meal that leaves you feeling both energized...

I recently visited Vale and was helped by Mary. Its a trendy bowl restaurant, and had a great experience. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, with modern decor and a friendly, attentive staff. The menu offered a variety of customizable bowl options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Whether you're into plant-based meals, protein-packed bowls, or something in between, there's something for everyone.

I ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl, which was a perfect blend of flavors and textures. The chicken was tender and flavorful, the vegetables fresh and crisp, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The portion size was generous without being overwhelming, and I appreciated the option to choose between different bases, like quinoa, rice, or mixed greens.

Their sauces were the highlight—packed with flavor without overpowering the other ingredients. The service was quick, making it an ideal spot for a healthy and delicious lunch.

While the prices were slightly higher than average, the quality of ingredients and overall experience made it worth it. If you're looking for a fresh, customizable meal that won't leave you feeling heavy, I highly recommend giving [Restaurant...
