Barrow's Gourmet Deli — Restaurant in Tampa

I was really hungry at work today and decided to take a quick gander on Uber Eats App to find my typical "go-to / I don't have time to think about what I want to eat right now" food item - chicken salad. I saw "Deli", tapped on that - okay, cool, they have chicken salad. Ordered, and kept working until it arrived. I went straight to the break room to stuff it down the hatch. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Ever since I moved to Tampa last year in February, I haven't been able to find that seriously scrumptious chicken salad that I sorely miss. I have never had Chicken Curry Style Salad before and I must say it is a revelation. I even forgot that I was at WORK for a wonderful moment. Music was playing in my head like, "oohhhhh sweet mystery of life at last I've found you" - I snatched up my phone to see the actual name of the deli because I wasn't honestly paying attention to those details when I was ordering. Barrow’s is a delicious little cafe that serves up BIG flavor. The owner is very involved in the business from start to finish and I admire that a lot these days. I try to get some thing different each time but I really tend to love the soups. It’s hard to find home made soups these days. They use 🐗’s Head (my fav) and there’s no skimping on the portion side. My mom was extremely disappointed when she got the sandwich that clearly said roast pork; Honey Mustard Pork sandwich – “baked ham, crispy bacon, roast pork and Swiss on toasted Cuban bread…” and the sandwich had zero Cuban roasted pork. It was though they had gone to Publix and bought some sliced ham and put it on a piece of Cuban bread and called it a roasted pork sandwich.
