Funniest thing ever for me.
I visited a Chic Fil A location that I normally visit twice a week. After a long day I decided to treat myself to a large chocolate milkshake. When I arrived and tried to order the large chocolate milkshake I was told by the person taking my order that yes they have large stiraphome cup and yes two chocolate milkshakes can be poured into said large cup but not by any employee at the location.
After that I was advised by the manager on duty that I would have to purchase 2 regular chocolate milkshakes and the large cup then pour the contents of the two regular filled chocolate milkshake cups into the large cup because they are not allowed to.
To my disbelief I probed the manager to figure out why I could not just order a large chocolate milkshake like I have for years since the location first opened. The manager stated they would have to ring up 2 regular chocolate milkshakes and one large stiraphome cup. Still in the hopes of getting the one item that I so looked forward to as a reward for a long hard day at work I offered to actually pay for 2 regular or small milkshakes and once again was advised by the manager that they cannot and will not pour the contents of the two regular or small chocolate milkshakes into the large cup.
I advised the manager this was ridiculous and by no means would I pay almost triple the amount for what a large milkshake would normally cost just because they refuse to pour what I pay for into one single large stiraphome cup. (Keep in mind I was ready to pay for the two small or regular milkshakes but after the blatant refusal of such a simple request I was a little upset to say the least!)
After about 5 minutes of debate I ended up contacting corporate with and spoke to a friendly representative named Asia. Asia took my complaint and advised someone would email and call me about the issue. Still fustrated because I felt I was also just being ignored and pushed aside by corporate as well I deleting my CHIC FIL A app on my phone and have vowed to not visit another Chic Fil A for life!
After my family heard of this issue they also deleted and uninstalled the app on their devices. Two businesses my family own have also removed information from their site in regards to Chic Fil A and published company emails to the employees stating that Chic Fil A is no longer allowed on the properties in any shape, form, or fashion moving forward for a total of 372 persons.
Goodbye and good riddance to one of my favorite restraunts!
Update Thank you for the reply below (Owner). Apologies but this still does not explain why 2 regular, or whatever size the cups are called now, cannot be purchased and 1 large stiraphome when the manager stated he could ring up the 2 milkshakes AND the large stiraphome cup. It is a simple fact that they would not pour the contents of the 2 milkshake cups into the large cup after I purchased the 2 milkshakes and the large cup. The blatant refusal of such a simple act does not seem holy or a good...
Read moreMy entire family loves getting meals from you’ll. Have been disappointed with the wait times lately though. I stopped at this location on my way to work in an uber. Saw a huge drive thru line and after long waits lately I decided to go in. The uber driver was nice to stop and I go in and no one at the counter but 8 ppl waiting. Some customers trying to get fixes and rest were delivery ppl.
I had to call someone to attend to us another lady in front of the line. I told I’m in an uber and was wondering how long it would take for someone to come get the order. Suddenly the elderly lady filling drinks comes to one counter and takes care of the guest in front of me and the other manager I believe called me up. First thing I asked was how long it would take for a chick mini and expressed I’m in an uber and they can’t wait. She said 3-4 mins. I said ok and got the meal. It literally took 8-10 mins plus. I wanted to cancel my order but she was busy packing drive thru orders and doing other things.
I called and asked her in between and she wasn’t happy. Unpleasant, frustrated without a smile said I’m the only one manning the front and packing orders. No apology nothing! I was about to leave when the cab driver walked in to use the restroom. Finally she gives me my order and I leave. The bread was a little dry on the inside so that was a disappointment too. Guess it wasn’t my day 😢
Communication is the key and all that it takes is to convey If she had told me at the first place that the drive thru was backed up and it would take time I would have gone without waiting. Upon asking she wasn’t happy at all. I get the pressure of work but there’s no need to grumpy. Smile and convey and we will understand. Sorry to say but I left unhappy and it could have been handled so...
Read moreOn Thursday, at approximately 5:15 PM, I visited the drive-through at your location and had a very disappointing experience. I placed an order for a 12-piece nugget, two pretzel spicy meals, one large mac & cheese, and one medium mac & cheese.
After being parked for about 10 minutes, an employee brought out my food and wished me a great day. Immediately, I noticed that one of my mac & cheese orders was missing. I tried to get the employee’s attention, but he walked away. I then followed him back inside and attempted to get assistance. Despite me standing at the counter asking to speak with a manager, I was ignored for some time.
When a manager finally came over, I overheard another employee shouting that she had put the medium mac & cheese in the bag—when in fact, it was not there. Only then was I told that mac & cheese would not be available for another 30 minutes. This was never communicated to me at the time of ordering. Instead of being informed, my order was simply handed to me incomplete, and I was expected not to notice.
The manager stated there was nothing they could do, and I was refunded. However, the dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and poor treatment I received were unacceptable. In the four years I’ve been a loyal customer, I have never experienced anything like this. As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes happen, but the way your staff handled this situation—with denial, disregard, and disrespect—was an embarrassment to your establishment.
I expect a follow-up call regarding this matter. I have also filed a formal complaint with...
