KFC — Restaurant in Tampa

I can’t leave a comment without hitting a star however they don’t deserve any stars for very poor customer service. I decided to visit this location for food today, what a bad decision. I pulled up to drive thru speaker and I asked the young lady to give me a few minutes to review the menu…she proceeded with “take your time and let me know when you’re ready to place your order”. After a few seconds I was ready to place my order…I said “Hello, I’m ready to place my order”…dead silence, I stated it again….no answer. My mom was in the car and “she goes did they hear you”. I said maybe someone has their attention at the window…I waited a few more seconds. I was like “Hello” and blew the horn..no answer by this time it’s like 3-4 cars in the drive thru so I pulled around to the window. The young lady(worker)with a pink jacket on was sitting in the drive thru window and when she saw me pull around she quickly jumped up. I said ma’am I’ve been trying to place my order but no one is answering. She goes oh no we didn’t hear anything. I said we want to place an order; she goes we can’t take orders at the window. I said ma’am the only reason I pulled around because we couldn’t get a response. The young lady flat out refused to take my order at the window; she shut the window and walked away. Somehow I got the manager’s attention because I refused to drive off without being serviced. Manager Tim comes over; I explained the situation to him….basically he told me their headphones were working, not sure why they couldn’t hear me….he apologize and said he could take my order if I drive back around to the drive thru. No thank you Tim and company. I gave you all too much energy from the start. I barely visit this location and it’s evident that I will never...

I wouldn't usually write a good review based on just one visit, but really all the bad reviews on here, made me a bit scared to even give them a try. (Being newer to the area, I always check reviews prior to going to a resturant, I don't have money to throw away, with feeding 5 mouths, it adds up quickly) Finding the enterance took me a second, wasn't prepared to go in the malls parking lot. People honking and being azzes with my blinker on thinking I was going to turn right away. Was probably about the worst part of my visit. Pulled in, wasn't the best fast food dirve thru greeting, but wasn't the worst by far. It wasn't rude, just maybe a younger person. It did take about 7-10 minutes after I ordered to get through the 4 cars in front of me. Actually, I'm the one that would rather wait an extra minute or 5 to have fresh food, and my entire order correct, so the wait was no big deal. It was still fast enough for fast food. I had a 20 minute drive to get where I was going, and the food was still hot, juicy, and fresh. I have had some aweful kfc from other locations, and this by far was the best. It was a little greesy, but it is fried chicken. I have to discount a review on here from an earlier post of them being "homophobic" as it did appear that at least 1 worker may have been homosexual, and they didn't seem to be unhappy with their job. All in all, a better than expected supper for my family (due to all the negative reviews). A little pricy, but "finger lickin good" Visited Saturday...

I dont write a lot of reviews on food places because, well, everyone has a different taste pallet. What I do hold utmost in any food establishment is the customer service. I walked in to an angry customer today. While I only walked in on this here is what I gathered. She was upset about the prices of the food and supposedly being short changed. Now to my mind, the prices are right in front of you, so that is your own fault for not reading the prices. As for short changing her, no matter where you are the manager is going to count the drawer! This lady decided to start yelling at the manager demanding her money back and she doesn't have time to waste. Well turns out the drawers were correct! This lady then threw her food at the manager, and demanded all her money back but refused to give him the receipt. This is when I stepped in, I called the police because while maybe she was upset about her order or how much she made, her actions were unjustified and who knows what could have happened had the threat of police not been there. The whole point of this review is commend the staff in how they handled themselves and the situation! Fast food employees don't deserve to be treated as underdogs just because Society views the position as lowly. Show some respect! That is all. I've never had any issues with this place. Staff is always nice. Place is always clean. Food is always hot. Food is...
