I visited Lilly’s Sweet Treats near Jackson Bistros on October 4th, 2024, at 10:25 PM, and was deeply disappointed by the service. The atmosphere was dampened from the start by two young African American staff members who loudly expressed their frustration about working close to closing time and the presence of customers even though they were still open for another 35 minutes.
We were initially almost ignored, and when finally attended to, we were informed that the only topping available was brownie pieces; however, none of the toppings were actually out of stock—they just had their lids closed. After some reluctance, they agreed to provide candy corn and Oreo pieces on the side per request. The ongoing, loud whining complaints about how it was “11”—it was only 10:45 PM—were unprofessional and uncomfortable, affecting not just our experience but also that of others in the store, including a couple who opted to leave rather than order due to the staff’s behavior.
Once we received our “order” we realized they put absolutely nothing in our swirl cup other than chocolate ice cream. Even though they charged us for all the 3 toppings and caramel sauce that was supposed to be part of the order. After receiving the ice cream the two young immature girls continued to whine and cry about the time and how their ride was ready to get them at 11, I’ve worked in the food industry and I can understand how frustrating it is to have late customers—But NEVER to the point that I’d cry and complain in front of a store of customers making them feel un-welcomed.

I get things happen but they ran out of vanilla ice cream after making several others ahead of mine that were ordered after.. instead of coming to tell us about this and ask what other ice cream we would like, they forgot and after 30 minutes i went to check on the status and that’s when it was relayed that they were out of ice cream. After choosing to refund my order, no one knew how to complete it....
