Difficult to find parking and the parking spaces are smaller than your typical parking spaces so do not bring a big truck! We had a 15-minute wait there were no available tables. It's smaller than it should be. Place is packed on a Sunday morning with people waiting. Once seated asked for the staple item which was chicken and waffles. They make a syrup hot sauce dipping sauce right on your table which is a nice touch. The fried chicken is very good. I think it's one or two more extra spices from being excellent. I don't know if it needs some rosemary or some basil... Maybe a little bit of garlic salt but it's close to being perfect. The waffle is your average Belgian waffle. It would be nice if they add a little special touch to the waffle like a special flavor to it. They put a special pink whipped butter on top which is pretty good. The other plate we had was the protein plate which was scrambled eggs sausage and bacon. Eggs were light and fluffy. Home fries were well done that's good! The bacon and sausage were average for a breakfast restaurant. Would be nice to have extra thick bacon or a different large sausage. Prices are premium here. That chicken and waffles around $18. And for the protein meal around $12. You're spending the same for breakfast as you would for dinner. Service was good. Cons: The water is running non-stop in the bathroom sink. I reported it to an employee and he said "it's been leaking for weeks" That's a red flag. Lazy manager! Hire someone to put a $0.50 gasket in there! You're telling me you have water running in the bathroom for weeks upon weeks that is pure laziness! Also the cooks put the food up.. the concierge has to separate the plates onto a big tray so the waitress can take the tray. Instead of the lazy manager putting rubber on the bottom of the tray... They have a big piece of black carpet there which I seen six people tripping over. Are you waiting for a head injury? Does someone have to break a femur before somebody buys a little rubber for the tray. Also there's only one location for a waitresses to fill drinks it's in the back corner. I counted 14 plates of food getting cold while six waitresses were putting ice in cups preparing drinks. What a waste! Poor management kills a business. Yeah the food might be above average but the management sucks. Where are you managers? Simple little things. Does it take a customer like me to point these things out and I was only there for 1 hour. Imagine all the things I will find if I was there for two or three hours. I would just fire the manager myself. Whoever owns this place... I let him know that I am a famous YouTube blogger in the middle of them bringing my food I seen that the food had two thighs and I don’t eat thighs. I told the waiter she told me I couldn’t switch it out. I told her to go get her manager. She told me the food cannot get switched out when to hit the table so the manager came with the attitude. He said we do not switch it out. I said well is the customer right? What they want and what they don’t want because I’m paying for it so he took the two thighs and was supposed to bring me back two breasts but he never brought me back two breasts we were sitting for 45 minutes and he still never brought the breast out, in the middle of my daughter waiting and waiting and talking a couple videos and upload my daughter took a bite in her wall as she bid into it Hair Was inside of the wall. It was so disgusting and nasty. We asked for the manager. The waiter came over and looked at it and didn’t say anything. I am so disgusted about it and the way the manager carried his self it was unbelievable I could not believe it. He didn’t even conduct himself as a manager. He had a attitude. I didn’t show his face out of respect, but I should have his body language the way he talked the way he spoke to me, was very unprofessional and then when he came back to the table after we told him about the hair, we asked him what happened to the breast. We have been waiting 45 minutes. His reply was didn’t you say you didn’t like the food? My daughter starts saying no I never said I didn’t like the food. I said it was here and my food, I didn’t want the rest of my waffles nothing negative to say about the fried chicken. It was delicious. The chicken did not have no hair in it but the waffles that my daughter was eating it was a piece of hair and as I looked, nobody in the kitchen head on here. I visit this location on Wednesday May 1, 2024 I’ll tell you is we won’t be eating and also I paid for My and he took my daughter off breast and took two thighs from me. Nobody go eat. Food is there customer service was awful for me never go back in. Terrible manager also, the waiter was very terrible. She didn’t even come back and inquire that we want refills on our drink. Read moreWell...as a regular who normally frequents this place with my partner and we typically always enjoy the food and atmosphere. We even enjoy when the owner Aimee comes to speak with us. However, today was different...we went in this afternoon and after sitting for about five minutes, "Billy-Joe" finally came to our table to order drinks, but by that time we were ready to order, so we did. 10 minutes go by...15 minutes go by....I start to see several people around us who sat down plenty after us get their food. Even a table who showed up without a person and once the person got there they ordered and still got their's before us. By this time about 25 minutes have gone by, and we haven't had Billy-Joe back since dropping off our tea. After flagging her down and asking about our food, she said she would check on it. At this point we've been sitting for 35 minutes and she comes back to say the wifi has been acting up and the order didn't go through. Not wanting to wait any longer, me and my girlfriend got up and decided we were just going to go grab something quick, because we were hungry. As we were leaving Billy-Joe decided to insult us by calling us "So impatient". Yes...after waiting 35 minutes with no communication, and sitting VERY quiet and patient, we get an insult. So I responded with "Did you call us impatient?". She says "Yes!" "You are impatient." When I asked for the manager she also seemed uninterested in handling the situation, while Billy stood in the back and Mocked me and made faces. When I saw her mocking me and the manger doing nothing but smirking, I got rude and left.
