We went for the breakfast at Oxford Exchange for the Saturday Brunch. We had a prior reservation so we got the table when we went there. For the drink we ordered Masala Chai and Thunderbolt Darjeeling. For side plate we ordered Fried Avocado Wedges and for brunch we ordered French Toast and Omelette. The service at the restaurant was amazing and was quick and fast. We loved our food and it was an amazing Saturday Brunch. The food was delicious. We loved the decor of the restaurant and the decorations of it. Kudos to the Chef for the amazing food as whatever we ordered it was spot on. The restaurant has lot of books and phone covers too outside it so everyone can enjoy them too. So whenever you guys decide to visit please try to make a prior reservation as without reservation you may have to wait longer.
This was our third or fourth time at Oxford Exchange. Oxford exchange has been one of our favorite brunch spots to visit and celebrate special days. I always book the reservation in advance so that we didn't had to wait to get seated. When we entered, since it was my wife's birthday we requested them to get seated outside and they accommodated our request to sit outside. The ambiance was beautiful and we always love the atmosphere around Oxford Exchange. We were soon greeted by our server with the menus and water. After browsing through the menu for drinks we ordered Masala Chai, Iced Coffee for small plates we ordered Fried Avocado Wedges, Smoked Salmon Dip and for brunch we ordered French Toast and Fried Brussel Sprouts. Soon we got our drinks which were Masala Chai and Iced Coffee. The drinks were great and it was a great start to our day. Soon we got our food. We first had Smoked Salmon Dip and Fried Avocado Wedges. The small plates were delicious and it was tasty. Then we got our brunch which was French Toast and Fried Brussel Sprouts. The food was delicious and tasty. We loved our food at Oxford Exchange. After breakfast one can also shop the books and specs from warby parker. All in all we always love our time at...
Read moreThis is one of the most interesting places I have been to for brunch. It gives the old world European vibe. There are many interesting books and items to browse and purchase. You can even get some bubbly from the Champagne Bar at the front entrance to the restaurant.
The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated ,very pretty and bright. I will say that I was surprised that the seats we sat in were torn and ripped, which does not go with the aesthetics or feel of this beautiful spot and should definitely be addressed. We had out of town visitors and we wanted to impress them with this place and the look of the seating kind of gives it a lower vibe than what we know it should be which is disappointing. The outside area is located to the side and can be reached by walking through the restaurant but on this day it was Sunday Afternoon Tea so we were not able to sit outside. Next time I will make sure to get my reservation to attend.
We started with the Smoked Salmon dip which is supposed to be a spread but was oddly wonderful for such simple fare. My latte' was tasty and came with a foam heart on top which is a nice touch. I also ordered the Champagne Cocktail made with Hennessey , because after all its not Brunch if you don't get tipsey ..lol The French Toast is very delicious the bread they use for it is nice and thick but just right for French toast this portion was perfect to share as a sweet addition to my breakfast. I had Rye bread , eggs , toast and breakfast potatoes they were a bit well done but still tasty(side note).. when we revisited a few weeks later I asked for them to not be cooked well done and they came out perfect.:). I will definitely go back for brunch again and to try Sunday Afternoon Tea! Oxford Exchange is definitely Insta worthy and a lovey place to have Brunch with the hubby/ the ladies or anytime you feel you need an excuse to get cute on a Sunday...
Read moreMy wife surprised me with a birthday brunch at Oxford Exchange in Tampa, and it was the perfect choice for a simple yet elegant experience. We were looking for a place with great food and a memorable atmosphere, and Oxford Exchange delivered on every front. We made reservations well in advance and were seated in the stunning atrium, which was a highlight of the visit. The architecture and interior design are truly unique. The decor is warm and inviting, creating an ambiance that feels both upscale and cozy. The surrounding shops, from the mini bookstore to the candle-making station and photo book displays, added a delightful layer of exploration to our evening. The wait staff was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making us feel special throughout the meal. The food was equally impressive. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, which was perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients and a delicious balance of flavors. My wife had the avocado toast, which she raved about for its creamy texture and zesty lemony kick. Every bite was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. After dinner, we took our time strolling through the space, soaking in the charm of the coffee bar, browsing the curated selection of books, and admiring the eclectic offerings in the shops. The variety of experiences—coffee, tea, candles, and more—made it feel like more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination. We had an absolutely wonderful time and left feeling like we’d discovered a Tampa gem. Oxford Exchange is a place we’ll return to again and again for its fantastic food, impeccable service, and one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy a memorable meal! (photos are copyright...
