NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY The valet was friendly and it is forty dollars a day. There were more accommodating than the staff with a room for a disabled person. It's suffering from sciatica and recovering my leg in a Walker. And they didn't give me the sofa bed. They gave me a little chair. And they also did not give me a walkin show. They have 2 walking showers I've given them to a guest without a need of a disability is more important than giving it to the one in a walker. Staff wasn't very intelligent enough to figure out when I told them a bottom floor that I am in a walker There would be a need for the walking Shower North , they didn't ask about my needs when spoke with them When I tried to show the manager the The Courtyard app with the pictures of the room.I reserve he walked Into his office and shut the doorl. The customer service is not very friendly in u less You kiss the employees back side. Kim obviously could not read and understand english when it said sofa bad in the room. My sciatic had to sleep in a chair with my legs over my walker because they were not able to accommodate not only the walk in shower but the sofa bad either. It's not guaranteed. Is not even for people with disabilities.
.mgr He's not accommodating to those with disabilities.Nor is the staff knowledgeable enough to ask questions and know how to fit the needs. Being accommodating he was very a disgruntled about the complaint 3 phone calls to the hotel after making the reservations to ensure a walk in shower.Since I am a walker and also a first floor or and they couldn't do either one. They did admit that the sofa bad should have been in the room. And of course kim was just not able to read the reservation. Evidently the phone calls of telling them I was in a Walker did not give them an indication.I would need a walk in shower. I was later told.Well, you see, some people come in and they needed it the night before and therefore they got it.Even though you reserved back in july. So it was all about money making sure the room made money and got money rather than the accommodation for the disabled person and the manager was not respectful and not accommodating to do so. The partial accessible room the shampoo and soap was in back of where you sit and it was over five foot one inches Get to it the shower handle got stuck because the adapter that holds it was too small for it. Very poorly ran facility. It's a very shame. This is got to be the lowest of the marriott line in a very disappointment to the mariott team. kept trying to blame the problem on the third party booking. And I told him so I've called in 3 times he said.Give me the name of the person you spoke with.He said he couldn't pick up The Times days.Or even the person that typed in the notes and the corporate office said that's not true. We qwaited for 2 and a 1/2 hours. Why the manager supposedly was looking for a disabled ruin and finally figured out?It was just a bunch of bull. The manager came in and a muscle shirt a pair of jeans and he had one of those orbs in his ear lobe. Later found out the guest. He didn't want to move. Were 2 heavy set girls that had perfect capability of walking and stepping over a regular shower. So the disability accommodation and accommodating a person of disability that called in multiple times is just not on the managers agenda. The corporate office and let them know about sofa bed and it did not.It had a little chair with a footstool. Getting the staff to do anything is like pulling teeth. This is very low grade or a marriott chain. I sent the pictures up to the corporate office with the way.The bathroom was set up when you sit on the accessible seat in the bathroom. The supplies over five foot one inches and they're in back of you. This is the only place that did not provide adequate Necessities. They are done in big pump bottles , which for pour anything into. Instead of individualized items for safety and health code reasons. Is very poor management at...
Read moreThe best part about this visit was the valet. And the new girl that was handling the room . Other than that, we called 3 times since sure.I got to walk in shower and it didn't happen. My reservation said that I was supposed to have a sleep sofa and that didn't happen either. The manager Does not need to be in a position of dealing with customers.Because he really doesn't care about people with disabilities. It's all about money. He continued to try to make excuses about it.Being a third party to expedia but I called That 3 times he told me that he could not pull up any notes. He didn't have any dates or names or anything and the corporate office told me that is not true. Waited around for 2 and a 1/2 hours on the synapse that he was supposed to be looking for an accessible room and well.Let's just say we figured out.He wasn't doing anything to help. You don't like people to come up and complain. When a disabled person doesn't get the room that they need for their disability. Other staff member of the front desk told me that someone else needed to have that room the night before and so they gave it to them even though we made our reservation three weeks ago. What were they supposed to do?Hold the room and lose a night of payment. The manager came in in blue jeans. The teeth and muscle shirt and round rod in ears. I was told that that is not proper attire to be addressing customers for a manager. The room refrigerator was not turned on for it to be cold for the customer. There was no body wash in the shower. The accessible shower seed when he pulled it down.Everything was behind you on the wall and up over five foot , one inches. The shower holder for the handheld was too small for the bracket and it was a struggle to get it out. This is supposed to be a room that is ready for someone as a partially accessible room.
The staff was very rude and inconsiderate and couldn't understand why I was upset in the Walker. After I called three times to ensure that there was going to be a walk in shower. The manager Committed to making ambiguous excuses and blaming.Third party providers and everybody else god forbid he didn't even want his own staff to take any responsibility. Talking on the phone to the girl in the front desk where we were waiting over 2 hours.Getting an excuse the manager was trying to find a room with an accessible shower. She was telling me she had more Other clients that she had a handle. She couldn't be bothered with us. I told her that's fine.I can always calm file a complaint. And she started laughing told me hold for the manager. And find out what name is Kim. This is probably a bottom bucket of the marriott chain, Does not it stand out with a quality in high standards for even high quality and professional behavior with staff or management. They will be nice to you as long as you don't complain and you don't really need anything to bother their time. As long as they can absorb your money, they don't care if you're disabled and what your needs are. It's just tough luck.I was told they only had 2 walk in showers in such a large hotel. And by the pictures that I took I sent them over to code enforcement of the rumor and it's not even eighty eight compliant the way the showers set up. Spend your money someplace better. As long as the marriott allows such a Energy with such discontent for the disabled and people. And once the continuing to feel that his staff made no errors. This will never be a quality...
Read moreThe worst Marriott that ever existed. Do not stay here. Ever. I don't have a good thing to say about this hotel. The staff is rude and unhelpful. I tried to check in for a 5 night stay at 9:30PM and my room wasn't even ready (check in is at 3PM by the way, and I'd had the reservation for weeks). No caffeinated coffee in the room and after I asked for coffee to be brought up to the room, no coffee was ever brought. The room phone didn't even work for me to call reception. I then accidentally left 3 shirts hanging in my hotel room closet and called at 11AM, within hours of checking out, to find them and talked to the manager Savannah who promised me housekeeping would call me that day -they never called. I called back at 5PM and spoke to a gentleman who claimed to not have access to the housekeeping closet to look for the shirts and to call back the next morning at 8AM. The next day when I called, the manager Savannah stated, 'we can't find them, there were no shirts in the room.' I informed her yes they were 100% in the room, I do not have them. She was mean and rude and when I stated what the nighttime manager told me the night before, she said 'That's a lie.' So, calling me a liar. Repeatedly saying, 'Sorry YOU left YOUR shirts in the closet, they weren't there.' So, apparently housekeeping or someone threw out or accidentally took my shirts. She never once apologized until I asked for an apology. This is awful treatment someone who is supposed to be the manager, the leader of the hotel, can give to a guest. This hotel is a shame to the Marriott family. Sadly my shirts were 'never found' which Savannah claims is 'my fault for leaving them in the room because she is not responsible.' I was promised hotel points for compensation (which I haven't received yet...) after I had to beg and plead for something to be given and point out what an awful experience this is as a guest and how as a manager she has handled this situation poorly every step of the way. Do not...
