What an experience!! I sat outside in the shade at these super cute red tables (with the company brand..I love it because you don't see stuff like this anymore) and ate every bit of my food. I've heard of chicken and waffles but never desired it until I picked up an order for Uber eats delivery and browsed their menu. What caught my eyes were the variety of flavored toppings and syrups. I rarely mix sweet and savory but my tastebuds were seduced by this dish, "The Triple Threat." The chicken was tender, juicy but fully cooked, seasoned, and the perfect marriage to my beautiful, fluffy Belgian waffle topped with nutella and fresh strawberries...And peach syrup (real fruit) and honey sriracha syrup, It may sound crazy but I was feeling risky and said, Go for it girl and drizzled it on everything. The flavors didn't clash, they just harmonized and took me to FLAVOR-TOWN!! This place is OUTSTANDING from the front door to the kitchen sink. Putting this menu on repeat at least twice a week. Take my word for and go EAT...
Read moreI visited this place on a whim. I'm a bit of a Chicken n Waffles afficionado and with this particular dish being trendy amongst some, I was a little skeptical. I ordered the Southern Fried option with a regular waffle. The selection of crafted syrups contained both sweet and savory based concoctions, they all seemed pretty good. Unfortunately for me, a sinus infection dulled my senses but aside from that the chicken tenders were perfectly done, not dry at all. The waffle was pretty standard but then again I didn't opt for the flavor options (maybe next time). Everything was balanced between taste and texture. Even though I'm not into chicken tenders, in general I really can't complain. As much as I wanted to dislike it, van-dammit I can't. My only critique is that they maybe ditch the tenders and upgrade to breast, legs n thighs lol (I'm talkin' bout chicken y'all!). The owner/proprietor was pretty cool as well. Definitely check out this place if you're...
Read moreMom & I went here before the actual storefront was open. They had their food truck in the parking lot. Sounded great! We took the food to go and in the car the smell of fried food was so strong, unusually strong...not a bad smell, but a really strong carny grease smell. Because of the strong smell Mom would not eat the food. I wish I had followed her wisdom. I got very sick with stomach pain, diarrhea, and vomiting.
Update: Guarantee I was there. I had my 92 year old mother with me. If the guy can't even remember me and a 92yr old ....well no wonder I got sick! Pretty sure I paid cash. But don't worry...I'm not coming for a refund or a store credit. I would never take a chance there again, especially after your response.... shows what kind of proprietor you are. And I'm 99 percent sure you aren't going to last anyway. I'd wish you luck, but your response is ridiculous for a restaurant...
