La Faraona Cigar Lounge — Local services in Tampa

UPDATED REVIEW: Still no response as of 9/26. This place never delivered my order back on April 27th. Ordered cigars to be sent to my brother in law who moved out of state at the end of Aug. Have reached out numerous times over the last six months and only received a forwarded response back to my email with no information (see screenshots). Never delivered prior to Sept 5th - no confirmation email was ever sent before Sept 5th when I reached out. Filed a complaint with the BBB and contacted my credit card for a refund. They don’t respond to emails (see screenshots). Sent everything to my credit card company and filed a fraud charge and filed a complaint with the BBB for lack of response and urgency. My family has since moved out of state as of Aug. Reached out last week and again no response from this place. Most likely they will try to say they delivered my order AFTER 5 months and no reply. Can’t confirm package was ever delivered since this was supposed to be delivered at least by Mid May and my family no longer has access to the property. Have all my documents submitted to my bank and BBB proving the lack of response and urgency resulted in no delivery of package 4/27-9/5. No response to...

I meet tonight a beautiful woman at La Faraona Cigars store in Ybor City, Her Name is Odelma, we talk for a well very friendly always smiling and she even ask me if I would like to drink Cuban coffee, so I did it’s was great Cuban Coffee. The cigars that she hand rolled herself is fantastic those special cigars she does are incredible. And the art that she does on those cigars are a killer. I would like to recommend everyone to stop by to La Faraona Cigars store and really try her Amazing Cigars, she really make it with so much passion and she really put her heart to all those type of cigars she dies that really make you think that you will never knew how much time she put to do those amazing cigars. One of the best experiences of my life was going to this lounge. We went for the rolling classes.

If you want to be treated like family (or better, in some cases!), go see La Faraona. The class turned into an all-day experience because we just couldn't leave.

Odelma is a fantastic hostess, but it's not just her. Everyone there was amazing. Ulver will make you an amazing cafecito, and Lulu made the best margarita I've ever had.

If you go to the main factory, the experience will be the same. This is how you run a family business, and we hope to be able to go back.

The rolling classes are serious. We rolled lanceros, generally regarded as the most difficult regular vitola to roll consistently. With Odelma's expert instruction and help, all of ours came out consistently.
