Turntable — Restaurant in Tampa

My family and I visited Turntable as we have on many occasions. Usually we are well satisfied with our quality and quantity of meals. However, our last visit was disappointing. Our Smash hamburgers were very small in portions and lacked the juiciness and thickness that we have come to expect, appreciate and love. When we received our Smash burgers, we noticed that they were smaller than the buns. When we lifted our bun off we noticed that on each of our Smash burgers there were mini burgers.They were thin like childrens burgers. We have come to love Turntable, and it is one of our favorites. But I hope Turntable goes back to the quality and quantity that we had come to love, expect and appreciate. Below are the pics of our Smash hamburgers. If you look closely, you will notice that one of the mini burgers are smaller than the top of our Coke can. Each of our Smash burgers had mini child sized burgers. So I know this was intentional. Super friendly staff, food ok Here is why I give it one star I took my 93 year old mother to Tampa for a hockey game, this was the first place we found that wasn’t overly crowded. I got the korndog my mother had chicken. Within 7-8hrs I was stricken with food poisoning. I called Marriott the next day, still very sick, they seemed very helpful. The security department took a full report. I was asked if I was looking for compensation. I explained that was not what I wanted, I just didn’t want anyone else to go through what I had gone through. I have yet to hear anything, it has only been 3 days so stay tuned. Such good burgers and fries and you just cannot beat the price, located at the bottom of the JW Marriot outside. Just a heads up, you don’t have any indoor seating to this restaurant, there are just a couple picnic table set up outside but the food is outstanding and you can take it inside and eat it at the bar area seating or there’s an outdoor patio seating off of the JW...
