Love Chalupp's. My favorite is the Veggie Pizza (and if just solo the 10inch Gluten Free crust is the ideal). Recent experience was great. The staff were helpful and friendly and the pizza was delicious at home. Improvements I recommend: Better phone service for handling phone calls. I wanted to call in and read at home and then walk over because I am nearby. The phone call didn't go through so I walked in with my book to wait. It was not an unpleasant wait and a friendly tired family sat family style near me waiting, as well. Since I noticed the kind clerk had been taking an order on the phone when I walked in I ended up asking her on departure how she was receiving calls because mine didn't go through. She recommended calling multiple times because she said some people get through fine and others say they get a weird message. My other constructive criticism is I feel like the interior decor could be improved or remodeled to make it more inviting and a little more elevating. The interior has a low light vibe which is cool I just feel like it could be better so that when new customers walk in they will be more excited about ordering there. I feel like the Chalupp's experience could be taken up to the next level without losing the quality, unpretentious, neighborhoodfamily pizza joint we know and love. Thanks for consistently delicious Veggie...
Read moreChalupps is what happens when you leave children alone with no supervision: Ordered a large cheese and onion pizza with a can of coke, $14 and some change so I had to order another soda to make it over $17 to get it delivered, how is a can of soda $3? The guy on the phone was dumb. Couldn't answer a strait forward question to save his life. Example-Asked if they had spinach as a topping and he proceeded to rattle off the entire list of toppings. Pizza gets delivered and the totals suddenly $19 and some change, I assumed they added a delivery cost and did not mention it. I open the pizza and it's a pepperoni and onion pizza. Which I can't eat because of food allergies. I stop the guy from leaving and he gives me my money back. I asked for the cheese and onion pizza to still be delivered. Never hear from them again. Was from out of town and had intended to have the leftovers for lunch. Large pizza looked more like a medium. No dinner or...
Read moreI love the pizza, the wings are delicious . I’ve ordered from them a few times . There’s 2 things that need to be mentioned . The extra large (xl) pizza is more like a normal pizza. It’s 16 inches . Seemed small , or average . So you’re gonna wanna order more , I can’t imagine how small the other sizes would look in comparison , a medium pizza would barely feed 1 person at that scale rate . And the (24) wings are $27.99 not $23.99 . They need to update their prices on the Google pictures . Otherwise this place has classic delicious pizza with good crust and that’s hard to find nowadays . I think it’s the best pizza in Taos , they keep it simple and that’s how it should be . Taos pizza outback is really good but they do a weird pretzel twist on their crust with sesame seeds and it makes no sense , this is how it...
