Decent variety and prices
My visit was on a Friday Morning at 9:00. There was no visible wait staff but I stopped by the sign inside that asked me to wait to be seated. A waitress appeared after a few seconds and led me to a nearby table. There were only a few other customers within sight. She offered coffee tea or water. I chose coffee of course. She then offered regular, French Vanilla or Hazelnut creamers. “Hazelnut please.” I ordered the Super Slamper ( this new item was not on the printed menu. Only found on the mobile App ). My eggs were fluffy but seemed like “Liquid Eggs” as the blending of yellow & white was completely seamless. I am not against this product as it does insure a easier way to measure. The bacon portion was two small strips, crispy but not the attracting mahogany color I like. The single slice of French toast was good. It had been cut into identical triangles, evenly browned and dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar with an extra portion of butter on the side. The pancakes were full sized, evenly grilled with tell tale bubbles throughout the center creating a good fluffiness. They accepted syrup well readily sopping it in. The taste of everything was as expected. Not anything special but quality was good. The coffee was a bit strong and slightly bitter. The Signature Diner Coffee is advertised as “Columbian blend made with 100% Arabica beans. This medium roast coffee has a smooth finish” Proper coffee is never bitter no matter the strength. I have always been satisfied with the consistency of my meals at Dennys. Usually good variety and value
Atmosphere The Denny’s’ I visited is located on Eureka Road in Taylor Mi. There are plenty of four person booths along the outer wall and tables and three person booths inside. It was very clean.
Noise Level Quiet. Normal talking levels.
Meal Super Slampler $5.99. Coffee $2.19 Total $8.67 Slightly higher than local average of $7.75
Wheelchair Access The restaurant is at street level, seating is at normal levels. Designated Handicap Parking is across the parking lot from front door. Nice ramp making easy access. There are public restrooms.
My Rating: 1 Star Ratings range from zero to four stars. Zero is poor, One star, good. Two stars, very good. Three stars, excellent. Four stars, extraordinary (almost...

Read moreI ordered a super slam to-go. First thing was the lady said they put the wrong eggs in so they are making the correct eggs now. I waited and waited then finally walked up to the register to inquire about my order. The man I inquired to, who I believe to be in management since he wasn’t a server or cook, went to the kitchen. I could see the kitchen from where I was standing. I’m 6 foot 4. As he was looking in my to-go box I saw him reach in and move something. I was hoping it was just a syrup or a butter for the pancakes. After I went to the car, I opened the box and saw the only thing in there was my eggs. Bacon, sausage and hashbrowns. The sausage were covered by the bacon, which is what I’m certain he lifted up to make sure the sausage were there. He did this with his bare hands after taking money from the register while checking people out. I went back in the register and told him what I saw, and he inquired as to why I took the food out Of the restaurant. I told him I wasn’t sure what he touched at the time. Then he tried to say he washed his hands first. Not true since I was standing there watching . Finally, he relented and said he’d make a new one. Once again, I watched him go in the kitchen and hand the same box to a cook. I can only assume he just redid the bacon that he touched. That whole box should’ve been thrown away and redone. They obviously didn’t make a whole fresh breakfast. Needless to say I threw it away when I got home. I can’t believe this guy had the nerve to say it was ok to reach in and touch my food. That will be my last time eating at...
