I called Monday to ask if a product is in stock, it was not, but it was suggested that I order on-line and I would have no shipping fees AND I would have the product by the next business day. Tuesday, I checked my order was in transit. I called the store again and was informed that a new add takes precedence over any personal shipments and I can call back Wednesday... It's Friday and I called the store again, no product. Add to that, the clerk, poor customer relations. In no uncertain terms, I was told she has no control over shipments and arrivals and, her exact words, "I swear to God,..." I was left in the lurches. Hanging in while she was hanging up. If not for the necessity of my order and the balance already charged to my card, I would absolutely, positively cancel. For shame, Terry. If The Vitamin Shoppe has no aversion for the temperament of their employees, perhaps The Vitamin Shoppe should look into other options to shop than on-line. The product I ordered is not on backorder, in fact, in stock and on the shelf. Odd, I am not privy to the store-stocked item unless I pay for it, in-store. I won't receive the sale price I paid on-line, as it is no longer on sale. Even with my reward points, I still pay more than the sale price. I think I will be shopping elsewhere, as it is obvious my near infinite cash flow has now been relegated to finite. Your loss, The Vitamin Shoppe. I'll pay extra for the product just so I do not have to do business with a brand who denies me my standard of shopping courtesy. Sincerely, Mrs....
Read moreEven though you had a shelf from floor to ceiling of vitamin c most of them even said vitamin c complex. Turn it around look at the back and the "complex" was just absorbic acid. An entire shop that sells nothing but vitamins and you couldn't swing a single proper vitamin c complex. this day and age a brick and mortar shop is a horrible idea, but a brick and mortar shop That sells only vitamins and gets something as simple as vitamin c wrong. So I was like okay, I'm here I might as well grab some black sea moss, annnnnd You're sold out. 🤷 I will say that guy working there was professional nice and friendly. So anybody reading this save yourself and just make the trip to zerbo's they truly put this place to shame. And I understand this is a rather brutal review over a vitamin but I had a sick girlfriend and stopped at two places prior. I figured surely a store called The vitamin shoppe would not only understand the difference between vitamin c complex and absorbic acid but would totally have a variety. So yeah slightly more angry than I should be but get it...
Read moreHorrible customer service. On Saturday, I attempted to purchase Whey Protein powders that were marked BOGO 50% off, but when they didn't ring up as discounted, and I showed the cashier the sale signs, he stated "he believed that promotion had ended". I returned on Sunday, to see if any other brands were on sale, and the one I had selected the day before still had BOGO 50% off matkers posted. However, today it was just for specific flavors. When I asked the employee if he would honor the advertisement from yesterday for all flavors, he said it was never for all flavors, and that he was also there yesterday. My husband then spoke up and confirmed it had been posted on all 3 shelves, the employee then literally said 'we are liars'. Turns out this particular employee was Devin, the store manager!! I will NEVER patronize this business again, and strongly suggest no one else does either. Additionally, I will be calling corporate tomorrow to report...
