We had a really good experience with the Lazy Boy store in Taylor. We went in thinking we knew what we wanted and what would fit. And we were wrong. We have a little bit of a unique situation in our living room. When we first got to the store, we were greeted by the store manager, Kamal. He welcomed us, asked if we had any questions and invited us to look around. He checked on us after a bit but didn’t hover or follow you around like a creeper (like the store down the street). When we were ready, he was there to answer our questions and was knowledgeable on the furniture he had. He then let us know about the in home design consultation. At first I’m thinking he was just trying to sell us something else. But that’s free! We met with Monica for that. She was awesome! She came out to the house and took full measurements and talked to us about what we want. A couple days later we went back in to see what she came up with. She blew us away with the design and put a few layouts together with different furniture. We had a budget planned and she worked with that. We still needed to think about it and left after that. We weren’t pressured to buy so that made me feel better about going back after we decided. A week later we went in unannounced to look at the furniture we were thinking about and sat down with Monica again. She went though the layouts again and we ultimately ordered one of the sets she came up with. Yes Lazy Boy is a little bit more expensive but the quality is so much better and I’ll pay more for that and to be treated that way. Our furniture is still on order now but the overall experience in the store was great. I’ll buy here again in a heartbeat. And definitely use Monica if you need some ideas what to put in a certain room. We can’t wait for our...

Edit- I have been having nothing but problems since we got our couch. First one of the back cushions went completely flat within a couple months of use and then we have had stitching come out of multiple pieces of our couch. The services guys are saying the stitching is our fault when it absolutely is not! When we got the couch there were long strings left at the end of the stitching and I was told that it is normal and that it doesn’t mean the stitching is coming apart so I believed them and now I’m out of warranty and they don’t want to help me get this fixed. I wish someone would help me get this fixed the right way because the couch is only 18 months old. There is no way the stitching should be coming out, especially for the amount of money we paid.
First I want to say our experience shopping was wonderful! We worked with the designer as well as our sales lady, they both answered all our questions and were very patient when we were making up our minds on exactly what we wanted. I gave 4 starts instead of 5 because we were told 14-16 weeks for delivery. We were reassured plenty of times by our sales lady that this time frame was an over estimate to make sure no customers got upset if there was a delay in delivery....Well I called last week to see if it would be end of December or early January for delivery and I was told it would now be February. I am disappointed, especially because the amount of money the furniture is. I just expected more from La-Z-boy than for example what Gardner white is...
Read moreThe store was quite the distance from my house. I was a little stressed from all the detours and road construction getting to the store. Joan Pearson was very good and helping me pick a Wall recliner. I had forgotten to make it power instead of manual. I called several times this morning and I couldn’t get anyone to pick up or return my call. Joan was off today. I didn’t want my order to be processed wrong. I didn’t have any other choice but to drive out to the Canton store which still is a distance from my house but not as far as the Taylor store about half the distance. I was very surprised to see how much bigger the store was and how much more inventory they had to pick from. I realized I picked out the wrong chair I wasn’t really happy with my purchase. Jean at the Taylor store wrote up my exchange. I didn’t want to cancel my order just exchange it for a different chair cause I wanna Joan to get the commission. I was disappointed that I had gone through so much trouble trying to get a hold of someone at the Taylor store I felt I could’ve been compensated more with a discount to my time and stress. I was worried my order was gonna be processed wrong and I couldn’t reach anyone to stop it or change it. Bob at the Canton store helped me pick out a chair that was perfect for my body to be comfortable in. I just wish I didn’t have to wait so many months to get it. All an all it worked out for me. Most of all I was happy I didn’t have to travel 28 miles to exchange my recliner. I would definitely recommend both stores as far as Customer Service but as far as inventory I think Canton has quite more...
