So it was my first time ever in a Korean BBQ style restaurant. The food was fresh service was awsome. My son wanted to go here for his birthday. It was very interesting and I'd definitely go again prices were fair for an all you can eat. Now my take on it. I was lost at first ordering with a large group you don't get individual items it comes combined ( not sure if I'm conveying it properly) but i was lost at first I just didn't know what to do with all the food at first but you get a soup base of your choice I started by adding my veggies and lete add real quick the choices were vast and alot that was offered I'd never heard of or tried and it was amazing. Then I added some grilled meat towards the end I was winging it quite well. And the meat selection was just as assorted as the veggies and roots. Now the reason for the 4 stars 1.no spices for grilling the meat 2.instructions given by the staff left me still wondering what to do. 3. I feel like it would take many visits to get it down Would I recommend it, absolutely. Would I go again , with out hesitation. My only advice is make sure you or someone your with is somewhat of a creative cook, that cam work with what they are given.

A neat Korean restaurant, now in the US of A. Came with a friend who likes this place after hearing about it for a few months. It was an interesting experience and I would like to try it one more time before passing full judgement, so I will update this review when that occurs. The place was crazy busy, about a half hour wait but they have a bar so we got drinks to wait, that was nice. The bar was empty. We were the only ones there, which was odd but it worked out for us. The experience is very unique. We did both the hot pot and BBQ. The pho / hot pot was underwhelming. It was bad, it was just bland. I did order the miso base which isn't overly flavorful but everything I made in it just tasted like the ingredients. I even added a sauce and it didn't do much. The BBQ was good though. Unlimited meats and a variety of sauces to make yourself is an awesome custom BBQ experience. I recommend Kpot but your milage may vary depending on how much you eat, what you like, and if the experience is worth it.

Not afraid to say I have been here multiple times since they opened. For an All you can eat the price is reasonable. I've seen posts where people say they weren't informed of this or that but every single time without fail I've been clearly told the difference in pricing (Whether doing 1 or both, whether it's lunch or dinner, etc). Everything is clean, the staff is quick, even one time when there was a printing issue they resolved it quickly and were super friendly and accommodating. It's a fun place to experience, I've never felt rushed, and in my experience they're always willing to help or show or answer questions on 'how to' with all of it. Even when I said I've been before they've asked if I would like an explanation, or if those who are with me for their first time would like to know. Hope they continue to do well as I love this place!!

Have been 3 times since opening, first time was with my wife and wasn't the best, we just did Korean BBQ for lunch. Options were not as wide during the lunch and we had to ask our server multiple times to keep changing cook plate, overall it was an okay first experience not the best. The second time was with my mom for dinner, got both Hotpot and Korean BBQ, the hotpot was fantastic and the options were great!! Korean BBQ dinner options were a lot better and had an overall better service the second tone around. Just went on today for lunch solo for just hotpot and it was my best experience yet!! Daniel was my server and he was absolutely top notch, on top of it checking on me and making sure my drink was filled and just generally making sure everything was great overall. One of the most peaceful lunches I've had in forever. Things have been getting so much better since the opening and it shows. For anyone thinking of giving Kpot a chance I totally 100 percent recommend. Just be sure to be patient and give a little grace because some kinks are still being worked out, but they are putting in the effort. I see this place being a downriver staple in the...

They deleted my wifes review so lets try again: Our experience with the service was disappointing. Our server started off friendly, but then stopped acknowledging her entirely and only asked my me and my son if they wanted refills. My wife had to ask someone else just to get napkins and utensils.

After taking our order, she seemed to disappear—we were confused about how to cook everything and didn’t get any guidance.

We also weren’t told that choosing both the grill and hot pot would cost more than the clearly posted $31.99 per person. It was a LOT of food (no complaints there!), but a heads-up about pricing would’ve been appreciated.

When she said we could go get sauces, she didn’t mention that plates were also up there, or that there were other items to grab. We went up empty-handed and only realized after.

My wife is gluten-free and mentioned that upfront. The server said she’d help keep things separate, but when it came time to cook, she was nowhere to be found. My wife ended up just eating gluten because she didn’t know what was safe. Really hoping she doesn't get sick. Do not...
