Let me start by saying I ran corporate restaurants for over 30 years, as a General Manager for 22 of them. IF YOU ARE WANTING TO BOOK A SPECIAL OCCASION, DO NOT!!! Debbie the events manager did a good job working with me over a 4 month period for my daughters rehearsal dinner for last September. All details were set. We arrived before the rehearsal to put out gifts and such. The room was not set up yet. It was pretty hot for September, and we were on the balcony patio, no a/c. The fans were not working, and one was literally broken. Two sconces and light bulbs on the wall lamps were broken. We did not have an open bar, but had pre selected wines with Debbie a month prior. I had 27 guests and asked for three servers. She said they would do it with two, and some bus people. Upon arrival, I met our server. She said when asked that they did not have enough people on. Well they had three large functions that night and the other two had multiple servers. I understand we are going through Covid, and that had made it difficult for businesses. That being said, no banquet manager there, no GM there, it seems to me that atleast ONE of them should have been there to help and run all of what they had booked. There was one assistant manager on to run all three functions and the restaurant. Our table was supposed to have wine glasses on it for our wine to be served upon arrival. NO glasses. I mean none available in the restaurant. I literally took them from the hallway where they were set up for another function. Our server said our wine was not in stock? They found it after searching. Based on this, I told them to offer open bar on my dime....One server to take orders for 27 people? I literally took over. I recruited staff, I served wine, I helped pre bus, and more. My daughter: "Dad where do you keep going?" Honey I am just checking on some things....I did not get to mingle and socialize with my guests, many of whom I did not know and were new family. Not all food came out together, but the food was good. I could go on but I wont. The last thing to tell you all is that after contacting GM, and explaining my frustrations after spending over $2000, she said she would get with the management team and the owner Mr. Baily, and they would let me know how they could make it right. Well October goes by nothing. Late November hits and I call to find out the GM no longer works there. I left multiple messages with staff to get a call from the owner Mr Baily. No contact. I emailed him all the details of what happened and said I would hold off of any negative reviews and give him a chance to contact me. No contact. I emailed him again to say, hey last chance please contact to make this right. No contact. Long story short, the place is run horribly. Management does not care, nor does ownership. They clearly do not put any money back into their business, as it is a wreck, and no supplies. DO NOT BOOK A FUNCTION HERE, YOU WILL NOT BE GIVEN RESPECT OR...
Read moreI had a very bad time. I called friday trying to make reservations for a fire pit or table for the Saturday evening for the night club.(for my bosses birthday) I was told they were not making reservations for those anymore. First come first serve. So i came at 6:45 to try to grab a pit for the evening. There were a few seats here and there. Some of my party actually were already there having dinner. I was told that i would have to move to a picnic table because i didn't reserve any tables. I tried to explain that i tried but i was told that i couldn't make any. Then i was told in order to reserve a table i would have to request "bottle service" at way over $200.00 when i explaind to both managers what was going on with my birthday party of over 11 people starting to show up i was finally told i would be able to be seated at some table as soon as it was cleared. The manager then gave us 5 small shots of tequila that was less then an ounce each thinking that would make me feel better. It didnt! It wasnt until 9:46 that we were able to be seated. I literally had been there from 6:45 until 9:46p.m. trying to be seated for a birthday party! We couldn't order any additional food for the table because the kitchen closed up. We couldn't order earlier because we didnt have a table to eat at. I ordered a bottle of red house wine for the table. It was a 2017 bottle of cabernet that was not that great. When the bill came i was charged for the table and bottle service. We left at 11:30. . its not worth it to bother to go back and try again for anything in the future if its going to be that bad again. What a disappointing night for all of us. They cant and dont communicate from the restaurant to the night club. I was told on the phone that they didnt take reservations then told that people the next day had made reservations on that Saturday morning. What a joke! I wish i could talk to the owner and have some sort of...
Read moreAwesome find! Went on a Saturday night, waited about 30 minutes for a table, but we were able to sit at the bar, meanwhile. They had Cali Creamin, which is one of my favorite beers and not found many places. They were playing a mix of music genres, but all upbeat and energetic without being too loud. They also have TVs in the bar, showing live sports.
Our table was in the outdoor/indoor area, which has plenty of heaters. The restaurant is a modern, very open outdoor atmosphere. They have a few cabanas with fire pits as well. Our waiter, Antonio, was great. Very friendly, and he was able to answer our questions about several dishes, offering his opinion when asked. I had the Chicken Schnitzel and it was geshmak! Presented beautifully, cooked perfectly, and super delicious. I also added the shrimp at Antonio's suggestion, but would pass on that next time, as the shrimp was a bit overcooked. I didn't end up eating all of them because of that.
Around 9:30, a security guy was going around to the tables, offering wristbands to those who planned to stay for the night club. We were offered yellow bands to show that we had arrived before 10:00pm. He said after 10:00, there is a cover charge. Since we had arrived before 10:00, we could stay without the cover, but if we left and came back, we would be required to pay the cover. By 10:00, they had all the dinner tables and chairs cleared away for the transition to night club. There was a DJ, a canvas art display, and restroom attendants. The restrooms could use complete upgrade. They are outdated and not as clean as I like to see in a restaurant.
We didn't stay longer than to see the transition to night club. They had a full dance floor, and a line formed to get in. Everyone seemed to be happy, respectful,...
