Luke's On Front — Restaurant in Temecula

We use to come here often weekly it had been a while about a year and this visit was HORRIBLE They ran out of kids chicken nuggets so we had to get a different kids meal we choice the chicken uneaten if was it a breast was it slices pieces or what the server told us it was strips. Well the “ strips “ came out a while flatten chicken breast with nothing else on the plate no fries no fruit we asked for fries. We sat on the patio facing the street and the food runner brought our food sat it on the bar pointed at it for us to get it ourselves !! What the heck is going on we sat to eat umm sorry not sorry buoy can bring our food to us at the cost of these meals !! The kids chicken meal was not what expected so we told them sorry please bring a hamburger plain nothing on it The burger came out loaded with EVERYTHING on it We asked to please bring a plain burger that our grandson won’t eat it with spread I mean I could have took off the fixings but the bun was covered in spread. The burger came back out without the fixings and the same bun with spread. We sent it back agin and the last burger came out extremely raw !! I asked for a manager but no one was available This place is going down hill won’t be back for the cost of these meals I expect a. Much better experience It as an uncomfortable visit

WOW that reply from the owner is unbelievable Many opinions and assumptions !! All without even reaching out privately asking what happened I have never had a business reply as you did Most want to really hear your side but not you ! You immediately accused me of having a bad day unhappy which was far from the truth I was very happy until your restaurant made many mistakes Your chef admitted that the food runner handing food from the bar is something he doesn’t agree with and that I am not the first to say anything I NEVER yelled at anyone I am offended that you stated that without talking to me as well. I am not a person who yells and I also never want to have any negative experiences with my grandchildren This is why the first incident I walked away to the front of restaurant to speak with your chef away from my grandchildren !!! It’s sad your long unfair not honest assumption response was posted without actually speaking to me via email or phone. We used Luke's on Front for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner back in October and people are STILL talking about the food!!! First off the view at this location is absolutely insane! It is super gorgeous in the evening with the fireplace on and the view of old town Temecula! The ambiance is 10/10! The food is also absolutely TO DIE FOR! There is not one thing on the select menu for our event that was not absolutely delicious! My husband couldn't decide between 2 of the items so she made him a special plate of a little bit of both!! The Filet was my personal favorite, but the flavor of everything was incredible and so fresh!! I think it even showed up the dinner at our wedding! Our bridal party and close family all enjoyed their meals! But most importantly we want to thank Kelly so much for her hard work before and during our event! This experience was STRESS FREE the day before our wedding and we couldn't be more thankful! Kelly and her team set up and cleaned up the entire space for us with some decor that we brought in and beautiful floral pieces that Kelly had put together. They also catered to us completely the entire night! Getting drink orders and making sure that my husband and I were taken care of! Not to mention she also took on the role of official photographer and sent us great photos at the end of the evening of all the decor and also took group shots for us!! There was also some very sweet and special surprises in there that I won't ruin for any other couples that choose to use them! All in all, we honestly would recommend using Luke's for any private event/party. I am still trying to figure our what party I can plan and have all of our friends and family drive 2 hours to Temecula so we can do it all over again! But until then, we plan on coming back and having dinner on our 1 year...

This is a painful review. I love the food and the fabulous view. But, being intentionally ignored for no reason is not acceptable to me. My wife and I went there a week ago and sat at the bar. The service by a gentleman (I didn't catch his name) was good and the food was excellent!!! My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening and some awesome food.

My mom, wife and I went there tonight, and the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great and the service started out good, then completely collapsed. The bartender, started out pretty good. Then after a while she seemed to be very friendly with a couple of males across the bar. She spent long periods of time talking to them, and ignoring us. There were times when I was literally waving my arms high in the air to get her attention to order another beer, and she wouldn't even look our way. Bless his heart, Danny (the barback) saw that I was being ignored and poured me a beer. Between her long discussions with these two males and serving everyone around us, she completely ignored us. My wife joined in on trying to get her attention, but she also failed. It was so blatantly obvious she was ignoring us. Even another person at the bar commiserated with me and said he didn't understand why she was ignoring us. He said he felt bad that we were being ignored. I can't think of anything we did that would have made her act like that. All I know is no matter how good the food is and the atmosphere is, being intentionally ignored for long periods of time is horrible. If I knew why she chose to ignore us, at least there would be a discussion there. But, being ignored, not knowing why, and spending $200 tonight causes me to give this place one star: Despite the fact that I love the food and the atmosphere. Go...
