OMG all the heart eyes for this place and their homemade ice cream. you can tell and taste the passion the owners have for the freshness and authenticity of their ice cream. The first time here was on a whim... I like to try family owned businesses and local spots as much as possible and love me some ice cream so here we ventured and it did not disappoint. It did the opposite and I have been longing for their lemon ice cream ever since they had it this past summer. Tim made me a lemon shake and it was literally the perfect summer ice cream dessert! We put ourselves on the lemon list for the next time they make it, it was that good! And then we went there again recently and I had the pumpkin ice cream (i like doing seasonal flavors) and again, they hit it out of the park! It was like a frozen, but also fresh, pumpkin pie! So good!! Had it again while their San Diego location had it at Bates Nut Farm! They are worth the venture... my daughters has had their vanilla (not your typical, boring vanilla), the sherbet, and the blueberry (so good and I don'd even like blueberry things)! My husband had the chocolate shake so we have tried the traditional and the specialty items and they all were amazing! This is our new ice cream...

Great Ice cream and I highly recommend you try Mariposa Ice Cream. There are many flavors to try and all the flavors are small batch and house made. You can get them in cones, scoops in a tray or even shakes. I've tried many of the flavors through the years and it is quite delightful.

Mariposa is a great small local business to the SoCal area. Although this reviewed location is in Temecula, I am quite familiar with the San Diego location. I live in the San Diego area and there is also one in North Park, San Diego - But when me and my fiancee were headed back from Joshua tree We noticed that there was a Mariposa ice cream and stopped by and it is in fact The same store for North Park! A very nice!

Mariposa is one of (if not) the best ice cream places in the area. It's a real local gem. I always look forward to visiting Mariposa.

The ice cream here is made without eggs and with all natural ingredients. This makes the ice cream delectably light and savory.

They have the regular flavors you'd expect like Vanilla and Coconut, and rarer ones like Mexican Chocolate and Cappuccino Almond Fudge.

Their flavors change from time to time so there's usually something new to look forward to, and the staff is always super helpful.
