P. F. Chang’s is definitely upscale in that one encounters a well designed, and visually appealing Chinese restaurant. Price wise it really is not much worse than a lot less classy Chinese eateries. Bathrooms are clean, service staff wear black and it actually matches tables, and overall decorum, increasing the franchise distinguished atmosphere. I went to the Apple Store to have my iPhone battery replaced, and had to wait for an hour, so this location at the vibrant Promenade Mall, in Temecula, CA, was our collective choice for a light lunch. Service was good and prompt, at around 1:30 PM. Noticed a 50% capacity crowd at the most, many wearing green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, ourselves included. Food ordered: Won Ton Soup, $8.95 for a bowl. Arrived nice and hot for the gloomy day outside. A little skimpy on ingredients, but since it was not its more elaborate, and generous richer version Wor Won Ton, it had zero shrimps. Broth was light and thin, but flavorful. 4 Stars. Chicken Spicy Noodle Soup, $10.95?. Only served in the bowl size, it was a light spicy broth, which I replaced noodles for bean sprouts, and requested that it be served boiling hot. With some pieces of soft chicken, and cherry 🍒 tomatoes, really what is up with that decision?, but healthy, never the less, the overall soup was decent, and it served its mission. The bowls are big enough where sharing might be advisable, specially if additional food is to be ordered. 4 Stars. Vegetable Egg Rolls, $8.95 for 4. Expensive set of crispy, and decent, small rolls. No different than most, but accompanying red sweet sauce very nice. 4 Stars. Pork Egg Rolls, $5.95 for 2. Slightly bigger in size, but nothing out of this world. 4 Stars. Water was nice, total bill including gratuity was $43. Nice area, inviting to look...
Read moreMay 2020 Experience - “Mother’s Day Disaster”!! Our experience with PF Chang’s (Temecula CA) was terrible. Mother’s Day disaster. Forget their take out & delivery process. Ordering and reserving meals totally ignored. This review reflect the current process and customer service at PF Chang’s May 2020. This reflects Ordering, Reservation, Take out and Delivery services that are the only pertinent services being provided at this time.
My son and daughter-in-law ordered and paid for a 5 pm delivery for my wife for a special Mother’s Day dinner. This was done on the PF Chang’s own website for delivery. At 5 we are texted by the DoorDash delivery lady that PF Chang’s is running behind and that they took 150 orders like ours yesterday plus today. They are overwhelmed with orders and did not manage it. The system accepted the order for a 5 pm delivery. The DoorDash lady said it was going to be a 2 hour wait. After 1 hour said it was going to be 1 1/2 hour. An hour later, received another text from the DoorDash delivery person that she had the order and would be here in 11 minutes and would text when she delivered. Then 5 minutes later, my son and I received a PF Chang’s text that our order was cancelled. Driver never shows up and is unreachable via their text. Have no clue what happened. So much for dinner being delivered by PFChangs. Never no apology.
So strange and terrible on Mother’s Day. What a terrible experience. So they are not recommended nor recommended for take out and delivery now. Give your business to a more deserving establishment.

Read moreEnjoyed a night out with my husband. It was Thursday night and not overly busy. The atmosphere was nice. Host was polite and friendly. Waiters were attentive and not constantly checking on us. Our food was excellent. Tasted fresh and was served hot. It is a bit pricy, however the portions are large, we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. We ordered the calamari which was amazing nice crunch to the tempura batter, the calamari was cooked properly and not chewy, this dish also contained some tempura veggies mixed in which also was delicious. The Shrimp in Lobster sauce was my favourite very flavourful mixed with peas and mushrooms watercress and egg. Although, I very much enjoyed everything we ordered. We also ordered crispy honey chicken it was also tempura and not overly sweet. And of course we ordered chicken fried rice which also was great, loved the giant bite sized grilled chicken chunks everything was mixed well and nice flavours. We would definitely go again for a special occasion. We also had a gift card which is the main reason we went...it is pricy but I guess compared to other restaurants like BJ’s it’s typical..definitely not your fast food Panda Express 🐼 (which by the way is also my Favourite chinese food place). If your looking for something a little more authentic and intimate P.F....
