Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Tempe

Entered the establishment and placed my order. Mentioned that I needed to start a petition to bring Chocolate Mousse Royale back. A girl named Carmen, whom was sweeping the floor, was nice enough to suggest they had some in the back. I asked if it was for purchase. Carmen explained that it was for selection in my 2 scoop sundae. The unfriendly guy at the counter stomped to the back and slammed the tub of ice cream on the counter behind him and looked at me with disdain. I happily told him that I would rather have the Chocolate Mousse Royale. He threw the bowl down with Rocky Road back into the tub he inconveniently scooped out before. I took a deep breath and decided that it wasn't worth mentioning his horrible attitude for fear I wouldn't get my Chocolate Mousse Royale. See my mother died unexpectedly on New Year's Day this year and getting Baskin Robbin's was our thing. Our usual spot had discontinued Chocolate Mousse Royale awhile ago, so I stopped going. The two guys behind the counter were very useless. I can in to pickup my online order and they told me they dont have the specific ice cream available, it's only for California. They could've called me and told me before I even wasted time driving down there. Nowhere did it say California stores only plus they told me that I had to try and get a refund through the app since I did it online. That makes no sense in the slightest, there isn't even an option for a refund in the app. They seemed like they just didn't care to help at all. I am absolutely saddened by my experience this evening at this location. We all know that money is tight, right now especially. I took my son out for ice cream and after just a few bites we noticed big cockroaches, 3 to be exact, crawling around. It grossed us out so much that we threw our ice cream in the trash and left. We even talked about it on the way home. Those roaches crawling on our waffle cones and on the toppings. It sucks because it was something he was really looking forward to on his birthday week.
