I drove 20 min to a phone repair shop to get my phone fixed. The wait time for that was 1 ¹/² to 2 hours. Yoyo nails so happened to be next door. I was hoping to get a pedicure while I waited. Immediately as I walked in I was greeted by the front desk. He was very friendly and asked if I had an appointment, I told him I did not. He smiled and asked me to take a seat. All of the nail techs were already with clients. I waited about 10 minutes before I was seated at the spa chair. Toni was the nail tech that helped me. She was kind, offered me water and made sure I was comfortable throughout the service. I loved the whole vibe of the nail shop. Most nail shops feel very rushed and only seem interested in getting the next client to a chair. Here at yoyo's, it truly felt genuinely inviting and friendly. The staff was great. Dana, the owner, was sooo kind. I witnessed one of her regular clients come in & gave Dana big hugs. She had just returned from a vacation. Her client brought her gifts from her vacation. It was a display of a genuinely beautiful friendship. Dana offered me some of her snacks and candy lol. We had a ton in common. She also gave me a stamp card. After a certain number of visits, they offer free service! Honestly, I would drive the 20 minutes just to this nail shop because of Dana and the friendlyculturethey have. I don't even know where to start with this amazing review. I came to Dana's salon because I had tried a few salons here in the Valley and they were all so disappointing. I had been looking for a new salon for a couple months now. The other salons always rush, make you bleed, bully and make you feel bad about yourself. The moment I walked into Dana's salon I felt like I was at home. It's so welcoming, clean and beautiful. Dana is a small business owner and you can truly tell the love and hardwork she has put in to build her business. She is very educated and cares deeply about the work that is being done in her salon. Ā Ā Ā Read more*update 09/07/2025 Not but three days after getting my nails redone they again started to bubble at the tip, crack and peel back. An issue Iāve never had to deal with getting gel. I called again and suggested maybe it was the polish and was told they only have the best quality. Dana the manager did offer to have me come back in a redo them herself. I planned on doing so but decided against have them grind my nails down more just to put the same polish back on that I feel may have been the issue.
09/02/2025- I came in last week to get gel mani/pedi. Unfortunately a few days later the polish on my nails started to crack and peel. I called and the manager Dana answered. She was very apologetic and got me on the phone with Chloe, who was the one that had done my nails. Chloe and Dana were quick to get me an appointment at my earliest convenience to fix the issue.
