Update: I still love this shop. It has been my go to for about three years as I have not found another place that makes their coffee and specialty drinks quite like this one. The current staff is great and friendly, though the people working there during the holidays left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, I can not longer justify spending almost $10 on coffee anymore. A year ago, a large iced with an alternative milk would have cost me around $6, but it has increased so much over such a short period of time. I can not drink milk so I need to get almond, oat, or coconut, which no matter what size is another dollar on top of the 6.75 base price of a small. I know depending on the brand, it can be more expensive for a shop to get alternative milks, but they don't even offer lactose free, which is the same price per gallon as normal milk, it almost feels like a punishment on people who can't have dairy when shops charge for alternative milks, especially when they charge so much and don't change the price depending on the size, I even worked at a cafe where we didn't add an extra charge which is where my expectations probably come from. I'll still stop by from time to time, but it is time to find a new location to grab my coffee from.
Previous: It's such a cute coffee shop. They have an array of specialty drinks that I'm working on trying each one. They have lots of alternative milk options even oat milk which is the one I prefer and which many small coffee shops don't have. They have seating and it feels open and calm even though it's not that big. The staff has already been friendly and welcoming and if you need flowers they make the most beautiful arrangements. My boyfriend got me one for my birthday and it was the prettiest unique bouquet I have...
Read moreLexi, one of the baristas who has dark curly hair, was BEYOND disrespectful for absolutely NO reason. She had a HORRIBLE attitude with multiple guests including myself and this was my FIRST time here and I will not be back.
I ordered a coffee and avocado toast. Aside from watching her chit chat with her coworkers and not helping with the orders, she finally called out for âAlyssa and Emmaâ and stacked two boxes on eachother. I donât know who Emma was, and the boxes were not marked. So very obviously, Iâm going to ask âWhich one is mine?â. Which I did NICELY. She looked at me with a dirty look and said with a HORRIBLE attitude, âTheyâre BOTH avocado toastâ. (Iâm sorry but how am I suppose to know that?). I looked at her and said âyou need to chill out, how am I suppose to know?â. And this is also because she was very rude to other customers who were standing waiting for them to order and very rudely yelled that âthey need to move to the sideâ. After I told her that, she looked back in my face and said âYOU chill outâ and I said âI donât know what your problem is but let me speak to your managerâ and very sarcastically she said âSheâs OVER there so you can go talk to herâ. Which I went and talked to the manager but Iâm not too confident much is going to be done about it so I will leave this review.
She also burned the...
Read moreI work next door in the complex and visit this little quaint shop many times a week for a quick escape from the office. It's become a core part of my routine, and I look forward to getting a tasty little caffeine boost every day.
More than the coffee I appreciate the vibes. I'm always curoius what music they will be playing, it varies between chill and relaxing instrumentals and more happy and upbeat songs. They have an assortment of diffrent chairs and earthy and lively decorations that create an awesome patchwork of form and function across the whole cafe, you walk in and might think you're in a clean and well kept antique shop, just much more lively. Your soon dispelled of that notion however when your greeted by the sweet smell of the flowers and coffee.
But more than the vibes, and more than the coffee, I appreciate the workers. Lexi, Kate, Cassidy, Aysa(I hope I spelt her name right!), Georgia, (couple more I am forgetting) and Tiffany the manager are all awesome humans and always have been incredibly nice to me. A few of them know my order by heart too, sometimes they will just tell their coworker who might not what to make for me when I come in, it's both funny and very endearing to me. Everyday they make my day, I'm very thankful for this hard...
