Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Tempe

I just had the most rude experience with the manager on shift at Jets Pizza tonight. It was 20 min past the time my order was to be delivered so I called the store. The employee who answered said my order was sitting there waiting to be picked up by door dash and that they weren't there to pick up yet. I asked to speak with a manager because I did not want to receive my order that had been sitting for so long, it would have been ready about 40 min prior at the time and the driver wasn't even there yet which meant it would be sitting longer still. The manager that came on the phone was more inconsiderate than any person in customer service I have ever dealt with. He continuously talked over me instead of listening to my concerns and taking time to think about how to appropriately respond and he eventually ended up hanging up on me after I asked him for the manager's name that was over him and told him that I would like a refund. He said, you want a refund?OK", and then "click!" I will never order from there again!

Update: The owner of the store called me regarding my review tonight, same night as the incident. She made a commendable effort to make up for the shortcomings of the initial experience that I had tonight. Her concern for my undesirable experience has made me consider giving them another chance. I will be leaving my star at one star for now, but I will change it accordingly if we give Jets another try. Order the 2 slice and drink , large meat pizza and Greek salad , 2 liter Pepsi 6:40pm deliver time was given ! St 6:58pm called to check in , Manager blame driver shortage said driver on his way , then said oh no it’ might be in the hot box , gets back on phone says oh it’s just now coming out of oven give us 15 minutes I said I have to wait over and Hour and half He says yep . It shows up 10 minutes Very nice delivery guy apologized said he told manager to get it out deliver it Manager left our order sitting in box Our liter soda and 20 oz they forgot to deliver Driver came back with 2 liters to make up for the mistake apologize again . Really happy to have Jet's Pizza move into the Pueblo Anozira shopping mall since the closest location before this one was out in South Chandler. That said, I've only had Jet's twice. First was time as two years ago at the Chandler location and most recently from this new location. The Chandler location definitely set the bar high as the pizza was incredibly balanced between crunchy and soft and had a lot of flavor. I unfortunately was expecting the same from the new location, and it's not that I was disappointed, but there is definitely need for improvement. I ordered the large, Detroit-style, deep dish, super special pizza and was surprised at the limited amount of pepperoni's and ham slices there were. Also, the toppings were burnt and the pizza had an overall burnt taste to it.
