We had a great positive experience at this new location. They have been open 4 and half months. It was my birthday and my friend invited me to this restaurant. She is a Yelp reviewer and Yelp gave her a free Entree, a drink and cookie for two people. I am a Google reviewer with 22,000 views and 140 reviews and I have never gotten one thing from Google but that is another story. The food here was excellent. The staff was attentive especially Maggie and Anthony the manager. My friend is very fussy about the food and wanted it cooked to her specifications and they were very patient with her. She ordered the piggy pizza for 1375 which had tons of meat on it bacon and all kinds of other things. I ordered a portobello mushroom and artichokes because I am a vegetarian and it was excellent. We both wanted extra sauce and crispy crust. She was not satisfied with the crispiness of the pizza crust so she had Anthony put it in again for a couple more minutes. It's because she ordered extra sauce and extra cheese and it wasn't quite as crispy. We also ordered the chocolate chip cookie with chocolate gelato. It was delicious and the scoop was enormous. The only problem with the restaurant is that it is surrounded by construction. Plus you have to pay for parking on the weekdays and it was very hard to find. The city charges a dollar fifty for the meters and the church across the street charges $2 an hour. There were not many metered parking places because I noticed the construction workers parked there. All in all it's a beautiful brand new restaurant with lots of good food offerings. It...
Read moreIf there was an option for no stars I would put no stars. I have been to this location many times and it is usually okay. The manager is absolutely horrible and is never doing anything. He stands around constantly and never helps out. He also constantly looks like he would rather be at home playing video games. This afternoon I went in to order 3 pastas. They were not busy at all and everyone was standing around. It took them 20 minutes to get my pastas out. Once I asked them where my order was the manager was completely rude. Obviously the one worker actually doing something needed some help and neither the manager nor other employees did anything about it besides laugh. Once they got our order and we began walking out of the building the manager yelled at us. Completely unprofessional. Working in costumer service for many years this would have been completely unacceptable. You should never let a costumer walk out upset about their experience. This would of been okay if the manager wasn't completely rude. We also called to ask for his name and the number to someone higher and he hung up on us. If this were up to me this dude would be fired in an instant. In conclusion I will never be coming back to Sauce and I will never recommend...
Read moreThis spot totally hits the mark when you're craving comfort food. My favorite dish is the mac & cheese. Game… Changer... The cavatappi noodles are the perfect match for that rich, creamy cheese sauce. Like, it’s the kind of dish you think about later and wish you had leftovers lol. It’s a simple thing but I love that they serve complimentary rolls with the pasta because I can eat all the sauce up! Their pizzas? Always fresh, always fire. I’m vegetarian so I stick to the basics but besides the plain cheese I do also like the White Pizza too. Okay now our fave thing to get before we leave are their cookies. They’re soft, gooey, and just magic, not your average cookie. Trust me, get one (or two). The staff is super friendly and actually knows the menu and will give great suggestions. Plus, seating inside or out depending on your vibe (and the weather, obvi). Now the only negative we have encountered so far is parking. It can be a bit of a hassle during peak times, because you have to pay and walk a bit but honestly, it’s worth the mini hunt if you can’t get parking up close. Overall, a solid spot and highly recommend to our friends & fam! Sauce Pizza & Wine is the...
