We had such a wonderful time at Foch Café, we were back two days later! The lunch menu had salads, crepes, burgers, and sandwiches. Between us 6 adults and 3 toddlers, we had a good range of a few of their dishes. We sat down and were greeted to and chatted with the owner/Chef Tim. You should talk with him also, he really knows how to pair your needs to the menu.
I started on the Chimichurri Beef Crepe. It had just the right amount of arugula crunch and tender beef you almost can't sense, then a savory basil sauce tying it all together. It was like the feeling a well prepared sushi roll brings to your taste buds; immediate satisfaction with a timed release of euphoric embraces reminding you it will all be okay. Just take another bite. Needless to say, everyone who tried it was delighted. Nice and light with big tastes!
Our friends went with the recommended Chicken Sandwich which they said was very good. They shared a portion and the chicken was extra crispy and thin enough not to overpower the in-house made pickles which subtly adds a sweetly tart crunch. I can see why it's the most popular item on the menu.
Our second time back I thought I'd go for something more filling. So I tried the Gruyere Burger and it was absolutely a hit! The sauce was delectable and the whole meal left me feeling good afterwards which is a rare occasion whenever I tackle burgers. Big recommend if you like burgers cooked to your desired doneness.
My spouse had the Flower Child cocktail and WOW! I wish I had one also. Sooo sweet and good! Not to downplay the Papago Orange Blossom beer I got, which had the best aftertaste I can recall on any beer I've tasted. You know how even some tasty beers leave a bad aftertaste? This one smelled almost like rose pedals in the few breathes afterward. Of course I ordered it both times.
tl:dr The attention to detail of everything mixed with the passion and friendliness of the staff will make you wish you could return soon to try the other delights they have available.
Ohh and we loved the soundtrack they had playing. Perfect place to bring friends to enjoy healthy...

Foch Café in Tempe is hands down the best dining experience we've ever had in the area. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like valued guests—and the experience only got better from there.
Chef Tim personally stopped by our table and shared his passion for food, which was both inspiring and heartwarming. It’s rare to meet a chef so genuinely invested in the experience of each diner, and his love for his craft shone through in every dish.
Our server, Brandon, was absolutely fantastic. His service was friendly, attentive, and seamless from start to finish. He not only made us feel completely at home, but also gave us spot-on food recommendations—each one more delicious than the last. To top it off, he made an exceptional tiramisu martini—creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. It was the perfect cocktail to start our night.
As for the food—truly next level.
We started with the skewers (steak and chicken)! The skewers came with a sauce and accoutrements that made us audibly say “OMG.” Whatever that sauce was, it should be bottled and sold.
We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which was perfectly crisped and bursting with flavor in every bite. The brie burger was juicy and decadent, with a flavor profile that was elevated even further by its unique and delicious English muffin buns.
And dessert? The strawberry cheesecake crepe was simply out of this world. Light, luscious, and beautifully balanced, it was easily the best dessert we’ve had in recent memory. Did I mention the crepe was perfectly cooked and the secret crunch in the crepe! I am still dreaming of this dessert!
Foch Café is a true gem. Between Chef Tim’s culinary passion and Brandon’s impeccable service and recommendations, it was an unforgettable dining experience from start to finish. We can’t...
Read moreI came in at about 10:30am on 10/8. Let me tell you, everything was perfect from walking in the door, was greeted instantly by the friendliest server/bartender. She was so prompt at making sure I was set up (while running the entire place on her own mind you) . Poured me a glass of water, got me some menus and told me she’d return after giving me some time with them. Came back with PERFECT timing and instead of the generic “what’ll you have?” Etc etc, she asked if I had any questions about the menu. Which to me was just way more welcoming. I ordered my latte first while I mulled over my food options. Honey Hazelnut Latte 12/10. Amazing. She came back again with incredible timing and I ordered my Breakfast sandwich. Simply put: Heavenly. She knew exactly when to start conversation, made sure I was well attended without being bothersome. This was genuinely one of the best experiences I’ve ever had dining somewhere. I feel so bad that I didn’t catch her name, but please give her a raise. For any future patron reading please make sure you tip her 100%+ percent. She deserves every cent as well as this establishment. Will be back very soon and this will now be my #1 recommendation for all my friends...
