If you're on the lookout for a hidden gem that serves up some of the most mouthwatering Korean cuisine, look no further than this delightful little spot! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that sets the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.
Let me tell you about the Korean tacos..oh my god, they were nothing short of divine! Each bite was a burst of flavor that transported me to a happy place.. The portion sizes were incredibly generous; I swear they could feed a small village! It’s the kind of dish that leaves you dreaming about your next visit long after the meal is over.
And don’t even get me started on the street corn! It was rich in flavors, combining the sweet, and spicy elements that made it utterly irresistible. Perfectly grilled and topped with all the right ingredients, it was a side dish that outshone many main courses I've had elsewhere.
A big shoutout to Sabrina for the exceptional service, her recommendations truly elevated our meal. She was attentive without being intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our experience to the fullest.
Speaking of experiences, the vibe of the place is fantastic. It’s the kind of restaurant where laughter and conversation fill the air, making it feel alive and vibrant. Plus, it’s conveniently located with plenty of parking options, both in lots and on the street. Just a heads-up though; while there’s ample parking, many streets in the area are currently under construction, which can lead to some traffic snags. But trust me, the food and service are well worth navigating through a little bit of congestion.
If you’re in the mood for incredible Korean food that tantalizes your taste buds and fills your soul, make sure to check this place out! You...
Read moreWon't be coming back to this location. Took an hour to get our entire order. When we came in, we had had a long day and wanted Bonchon after having a fantastic experience at the other Tempe location. The restaurant was empty. 20 mins into our wait we were told it would take another 20 minutes because they can only do one flavor at a time. We ordered 30 soy garlic wings, 8 drum sticks, and 20 of the sweet and spicy flavor wings and a bibimbap.
Meanwhile a group of college kids came in and ordered. Sat down and got their orders before ours. Another couple comes in and waits for theirs. Someone else comes in and orders take out and gets their order and leaves.
The cashier was nice enough to bring us the orders as they came out so we could eat what was ready. An hour later, we were told we'd have to wait a few more minutes for our drumsticks.
We were given two free Korean doughnuts and 30% off a future order coupons for our trouble.
Sadly disappointed with the entire experience. The wings were also overly breaded. The bibimbap was also cold and did not taste right.
We'll stick to the other...

Tried out Bonchon near ICC Masjid, and it was a solid experience! The Bulgogi beef was tasty, packed with scallions inside and on top—so that covered my veggie intake for the meal. I do wish it had more sauce, especially since I’m comparing it to the authentic Korean BBQ spot my friend Eddie’s family owned back in high school. That said, the rice was cooked perfectly—not too mushy or hard.
The real star of the show? The fried chicken! I ordered six wings, half in YANG-NYEOM style and half Soy Garlic. Both flavors were absolutely delicious. I only ate half of each dish to control portions and saved the rest for later (even logged it for my nutritionist, who might be tempted to try this spot!).
The location is great—right on the SW corner of 7th St & Myrtle. The open floor-to-ceiling sliding door provided a nice view of “A” Mountain and the historic Governor Benjamin Moeur Residence.
Overall, a solid experience. I’d definitely come...
