Starbucks — Restaurant in Tempe

DATE: Sun, Feb 16, 2025 (Approx 8:50a) - LOCATION: 1620 W ELLIOTT RD, TEMPE, AZ. MNGR ON SHIFT: “ASHLEY” ~ NEGATIVE ZERO STARS warranted based on my experience this morning. I’ve been a Starbucks Gold Member since approx 2007 (shortly after Rewards Program creation). However, I was Starbucks fan long before then. My spend is between $12 -$14 DAILY until recently. This morning, the Mngr “ASHLEY” called the Police on me (Right..I’m still confused), Record Filed against me w/Tempe PD AND I was indefinitely BANNED from the location. Are you kidding me?!?! For what, Ms. Starbucks?? Exactly, you didn’t have an answer. REWIND Prior to Officers Arriving: I was told by “ASHLEY” I would not be served after all and to wait outside until the Police arrived which I informed her I would not wait outside as I hadn’t done anything wrong. WHO exactly do you think you are?? I’m close to 60Yrs old. I’ve primarily frequented this location since Apr 2016. And unfortunately, the interaction this morning was allll due to a Mngr having a power trip as I wouldn’t allow her to treat or speak to me in an acceptable manner as if she’s some superior being and I’m beneath her. She best remember, “WE” the “CUSTOMERS” are paying your salary. Mind you, I did not threaten her in any way nor act as though I would harm her. No rash movements period. There were (2) Staff Members and (2) Individuals present through-out the entire interaction. Shame on you Starbucks for hiring such a poor, poor representation of your brand. Disappointing and disgusting treatment… No excuse for what...

My husband and I had the worst experience at this location today October 27, 2018. I have a dairy allergy where I break out in hives from dairy. I asked for soy milk in my drink as I always do. When they called out my drink they didn’t specify that there was soy milk and I saw it had been made in a dairy frapp blender and not the non dairy one. When I asked if it was made with soy milk the girl working told me yes and that she made it. As I was walking away under her breath she then said “obviously I knew that” and not quiet at all. I very nicely had explained to her in the beginning I have a dairy allergy. This isn’t something I make up to just have a fun time. I break out in hives and have to immerdiatey take multiple anti-histamines if I get dairy in my system. I frankly find this kind of blatant disregard for peoples allergies and rudeness a reason to NEVER visit this...

I go to this Starbucks a lot and I’m very impressed with their service. Andre, Payten, and Paul are thee most amazing individuals I’ve ever met. I do a lot of mobile orders here and when I come in Paul greets me by my name. Andre makes you feel like you’re more than just a customer walking in the door. Payten is amazing at remembering the little sides I like along with my drink like my extra cup of ice and spoon. They make my most complicated drink perfect every time and It’s the little things that count and all three of these men pay very close attention to detail and making Starbucks just a cool warming environment to walk into each day, no matter what time of day I walk in.
