It’s my birthday and I swore when I signed up for rewards with the store they took my birthday. Anyway, she said my birthday wasn’t in there and I can put it in the app. I got to the front and asked what the app was and she said they have none. She said I can show her my id and I told her I didn’t bring my id to get coffee but I had a photo of it. She said that won’t work. Basically they wasted my time and I had to pay for my drink hen I could’ve gone somewhere else for a birthday drink. Their drinks are good but the way they treated me in trying to get my birthday added was crazy and they gave me no options in adding it. Their customer service is crazy bad and enough to make me not come here again. Treat your repeat customers better.
Additionally, the goal post shouldn’t constantly move for a reward. First an app was available, then it wasn’t, they’re not able to add it for you, and the only way to add it is when you first sign up and get sent a text. Then an ID is needed, then it needs to be physical. If they’ve had issues with people photoshopping IDs to get a $6 drink, then I can’t help them. If they’d rather lose customers by changing how to get rewards, that’s on them and just not a business I want to do...
Read moreOrdered a drink and when the employee (Lexis) brought out the wrong one I let her know that was not the one I wanted and instead of offering to remake the correct one she started arguing with me that it was my fault and that I ordered the wrong drink. So at this point it’s he said she said (but the 3 people I was with all agreed with me because I kept mentioning how excited I was to try my drink.) and the costumer is always right so she should’ve remade my drink without arguing. She then said she would make the correct drink if I paid for it, one of the people I was with began arguing with her and Lexis finally said she would make the correct drink, if I brought the incorrect drink back. I did not want the incorrect drink anyway so I had no problem giving it back but from past experiences at other coffee shops they let you keep the mistake because it will get thrown away anyway. I believe she only made me bring it back because she was angry and not because it’s company policy. I was planning on coming back here to try a lot of the drinks but after this interaction I will not be...
Read moreI lived across the street from Top Fuel for about two years and they were my daily coffee shop for my dog and I while we lived in the area. Now we still make the drive over from Phoenix when we can. We have never had anything other than a welcoming experience. I love their drinks and they easily have the best avocado toast in North Tempe 👌🏼 In the midst of all of this TikTok/Google/Yelp drama, I hope that people can look past people who have nothing better to do than drag a small business through the mud continuously while ramping up support from people who don’t even live in the area and give Top Fuel a try for themselves. They’re a high-volume business with quick turnover time from customer to customer in a drive-thru only model at this location and it takes time to build relationships/familiarity with people when you are working at that volume/ setting. I worked in a similar style business for years and I think that Jess and the entire team do an amazing job of keeping things rolling while offering a fun,...
