On Saturdays I like to thrift shop and often take the thrift store treats. This morning I stopped by DD and I typically go thru the drive thru but this day I went inside. I ordered a couple dozen assorted donuts and an iced coffee. The guy behind the counter was nice but I said multiple times that I wanted a large iced coffee and he did a medium and when I told him I kept saying large he put it in a large cup and added more coffee. It was pretty gross and I ended up throwing it away. But I appreciated him attempting to accommodate my request. When I ordered the donuts his manager was standing there and he asked that the other associates help him with the donuts while he made the iced coffee. He made the coffee while the guy behind him kept putting up stickers and his manager walked away to do something else. I was a little taken back that he asked for their help and no one helped him. A different manager, from the Baskin Robbins side saw me waiting and asked did I have my coffee and I said yes and told her that the clerk had asked for help to prepare my order and no one helped him at which point she immediately jumped in to help him. (Kudos to her) The store was not crowded I was the only person at the counter and shortly after a gentleman walked in and was helped right away. The store was clean and the clerk was kind to me. I just didn't like that he asked his manager for help and she ignored him as well as the other associates around him. The team dynamics need work as it directly impacts the customer experience. IF, I go back I'll probably use the drive thru but I'm not likely to return. Be kind to your customers but better to each other, you're a team. ...

We had been waiting at the register for over 7 minutes, enough time to discuss going to another DD, enough time for any employee to tell us they'll be right with us, sorry for the wait.
When I asked if we could get some service (because the drive through was working great!) What did the long-haired, 20-something shift leader named JAKE say to us? He turned his back and yelled "SOME PEOPLE NEED TO LEARN TO HAVE SOME FREAKING PATIENCE." --- Clearly directed at our party.
I asked JAKE if what he said was directed at us, he came back and said "I'M GOING TO SAY IT RIGHT TO YOUR FACE!"
Needless to say, this was truly unacceptable. I just wanted a boston creme, the kids wanted their frosted doughnuts, we just wanted service at the register, we were waiting for a long time.
There was absolutely ZERO inventory in stock on the shelves on a Saturday morning. The employees truly hate their manager, as when I asked who I could complain to, Cierra- the person at the register told me the person who yelled at us WAS THE GM AND IT WAS NO USE!
Well Cierra, I hope JAKE doesn't manage your store anymore after ownership gets wind of this post.
I will only visit this location to make sure the person who yelled at us is no...
Read moreI go to this location religiously on Saturday and Sunday morning to get coffee, sometimes the line is slow because everyone likes their coffee and donuts but they seem to be aware of the line when it happens and knock it out pretty quickly depending on the size of the orders so all I have is drive thru experience but there is this one woman with blueish hair college student I believe that really makes my day. Last week there was this woman in front of me that I guess had a big order so when she got her things she just pulled up just a little bit to check everything before leaving instead of getting out of the way so I get my cup of coffee and sat there about 5 minutes just waiting at the window for her to move out of the way and the woman at the window saw I was just sitting there so instead of letting me sit there and get upset because this lady was blocking me from moving she kept me occupied with conversation until the lady left. Give that woman a raise for keeping me from blowing up on a lady that was too dumb and self centered to move...
