I was gifted a $50 gift card for my birthday to Freebirds. I was excited. Well, apparently the store isn't able to accept gift cards now because they have a new POS system. Which renders my gift card useless. I've gone in twice to use it on different days and neither time was it able to be used. I asked when they might be able to correcr this problem and was told "i dont know, its a new system", which effectively does not answer any questions. Ive already been teetering on switching back to chipotle because the food quality at this location as gone down. It used to be quite flavorful and has become blander as time goes on. This may well end up being the nail in the coffin for freebirds. I don't expect perfect, but what kind of business rolls out a new system without having adequate training with the system? You can't expect teens rolling burritos to be able to sort this sort of thing out, it isn't what they are paid to do. Someone with the knowledge and authority to correct problems as they arise should be available to the staff and prioritize fixing equipment rollout issues. A more assertive approach from upper management to be involved in the smooth switchover would seem to be the obvious solution....apparently not though. Do you know how demoralizing it is to go pay for your order and then need to leave because the gift card that was bought and paid for isnt being accepted. It was my lunch break and i had to skip lunch because i didnt have time to go elsewhere. At least put a sign on the door...now im stuck with a gift card that I can't use till who knows when. DO NOT BUY FREEBIRDS GIFT CARDS AT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this location today 7/12/19, while in town for a family reunion. There were 6 of us, being my first time at a Freebirds I wasnāt sure what to get. Josh/Jake began preparing my burrito, with no greeting outside of asking what type of tortilla I would like. He asked if I wanted bean so I touched the glass as I pointed to which ones I wanted. He says ānice nails but donāt tap the glass it makes me feel like an animalā It kind of took me by surprised wasn't sure if I heard him right until he said it to my little cousin then again to my aunt. While we sit down and eat we are debating whether or not to say anything so my aunt went to Josh to let him know his comments were unsettling. While she was explaining herself another gentleman Alex Rake came up asking if he could assist. Alex heard her out, he seemed very disturbed and disappointed in josh. Alex was very nice and understanding and advised us to write a complaint and he would inform his mangers as well.
I get that this is not a gourmet restaurant but customer service should be a top priority in any business. Josh needs training in customer service, learn how to talk to people. Sometimes itās not what you say itās how you say it. Alex and Kaitlyn were awesome and the food was...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlaced a curbside order via the app and arrived when the order was supposed to be ready. Called their number and a young lady picked up. I told her I was there for a pick up order and gave my name. She asked me to hold. Sat on hold for twelve and a half minutes. Tried to call multiple times and no one would pick up. Sometimes the phone would play the music like it was ringing, others it went straight to a message that said no one was available to take the call. All the while, several people go in and come out with their orders. So 24 minutes after the order was due to be picked up, I finally found a mask in my car and went in. The young man that helped was very nice and said sometimes it was hard to hear the phone. Thatās fine, but the girl who initially answered knew someone was waiting for an order and knew she had placed them on hold. After making sure I had the kids drinks that came with the order, I was able to go home and feed my group. Food was good, it always is. Think the store needs their phone system reviewed and training for those that are going to...
