Bob Evans — Restaurant in Terre Haute

Will not go back to this place for any reason. We ordered a Homesteaders breakfast, a kids pancakes with a sausage link and an orange juice, and an order of just biscuits and gravy, ordered carry out. Went to pick it up, the time for pickup was supposed to be 10:21, got there at 10:28 and the lady at the register had no idea i had even placed a carryout order so i showed her my reciept and her response was simply well it is not ready, it will be a little bit. She finally got my order ready and threw the bag on the counter and walked away, not a thank you have a nice day or anything. I took my order and when i got out to the car i checked it, i was missing an order of biscuits and gravy so i went back in, i explained to the lady what i was missing and she proceeded to tell me that i was wrong and that it was in the bag, so i showed her that the homesteader came with an order of biscuuts and gravy and that we had ordered another seperate order, to which she threw her hands up and said sure fine whatever. She again tossed the container on the counter and walked away without a word. Upon getting home and checking i found that the OJ was nowhere to be found, we had no sausage in the pancake order, so we basically just got an order of pancakes, also the homesteader had the eggs and was supposed to have hash browns, but had home fries also i ordered sausage patties with it and instead got 3 pieces of bacon that was still almost raw and that was it no sausage at all. This place is ridiculous and needs to be shut down if this is how they treat customers. Will not be back. At one point i had asked to talk to the manager and 3 other people were standing there also waiting on the manager and we were told the manager was not in the store for whatever reason. I am ounting this simply to share my experience in hopes management or corporate will provide more support to their staff. My partner and I went about a week ago, I got a turkey sandwich with potato soup , and my partner got an omelet. Our server was very sweet when she took our order & brought us our drinks. We then sat for a very long time waiting for our food (45mins -1 hour). This was our first time so we didn't know if this was normal. It wasn't until our server brought us our checks we realized there was a problem. We told her we haven't recieved our food yet, and she did everything she could do to make it better. We did not get offered a discount or food taken off our bill, but I did not ask for a manager because i simply just wanted to eat at this point. During our visit we could hear staff yelling about who's turn it was to be sat & seemed very disorganized. I even overheard our server say her section was Sat before she even began her shift. I hope management assures their staff know how to properly communicate & are trained properly. We used to love to come here to eat but it’s honestly just going down hill. First off, my son ordered the piggy pancake which is what he always gets. The waitress brought his food out knowing they made him the wrong thing and said “do you still want the piggy pancake?” To which he of course said yes. So she takes it and comes back with it just covered in chocolate syrup after she attempted to “draw” a pig on it. It was a mess and he couldn’t even eat it bc of all the chocolate. Then she comes back and says they forgot the chicken on my salad so she brought me some (3 small pieces of chicken” and then proceeds to pick up the pieces with her BARE HANDS (which included a bandaid on her finger) and plop it on my salad. We’ve been giving them multiple chances lately bc like I said, we used to love coming but I think today was our last visit. I also feel bad because the server was nice, but that doesn’t make up for just giving my son the wrong food instead of asking for it to be made right, or grabbing my food with your bare...
