IHOP — Restaurant in Terre Haute

IHop At This Location At One Time Was One Of The Best Restaurant's In T.H.Indiana.

In The Past This Restaurant Was Flying High With Being Successful.

With Professional Staff That Provided Fresh&Hot Food That Was Cooked&Served On A Daily Basis.

Over The Year's..They've Gone DownHill..

Basically,Crash&Burned..

Since They Stopped Serving Fresh&Hot Food Like They Once Did&The Staff Became Very Unprofessional.

Year's Ago During Visit's They Was Happy To Serve Their Customer's.

Recently During Visit's The Only Service They Frequently Provide Is Serving Unfresh Food To Customer's.

Followed By Either Having Sarcastic&Rude Remark's Or Alway's Having A Bad Attitude Problem.

&Having Extreme Bitter Vibes When Serving Their Customer's.

The Way They Act Sometime's Is Very Immature Which Is 88% Of The Time.

Especially During Business Hours Is The Worst Service They Ever Provided.

The Old Crow's That Waitress Here(The Elderly Staff),They Act Like They Don't Really Wanna Serve Customer's At All.

Or Act's If It Kill's Them To Actually DO Their Job That They're Getting A Weekly Paycheck For.

This Is The Treatment Some Customer's Encounter Often During A Visit.Very Sad Isn't It?😔

I Pass Through T.H.Indiana Alot During Traveling&This Place Year's Ago Was A Hit.

But Sadly To Say,These Day's They've Become Nothing More Than A One Hit Wonder.

The Dining Area Is A 5 🌟 Credit. Huge&Spacious.

Very Casual&Comfortable Great For Friends&Family Dining,Relaxing After Having A Busy Morning&Afternoon Or Relaxation After Work.

🤔But Desperately Need's Better Staff&Waitresses That's Not Nursing Home Bound.😖

Wouldn't Recommend At All.

&Cold Food Was Cooked&Let Set Out For Hour's Before Serving Was Served To My Table..Waitress Had A Very Horrible Attitude After Informed.

I stopped by the restaurant and placed a carry out order 2 days ago and it was the worst meal I had at any IHOP I've visited. I've been to IHOP more times than I can count in other cities. I stopped bybthe restaurant late at night and placed a $23 order for a chicken fajita omelette and french toast. I tipped the person who took my order before I received even though I was waiting there and taking it to go. I hadn't eaten all day after a long day of work. I live on the other side of town so I just wanted to get back and enjoy my food. When I got home and started eating my food I couldn't even get through the first bite without spitting it out. The chicken was so dry and hard I thought they had given me the wrong order for a second. I tried to keep eating thinking it was one bad piece. I couldn't have been more wrong. Each bite I took was met with harder and dryer pieces of chicken. It was the worst chicken and omelette I've ever had. The french toast I had was black and brown. I didn't feel like driving back across town that late at night and they don't answer the phone after a certain time. I went back today when I was able to speak to a manager about what happened. The Manager came out and after I explained the issue, showed the payment made, and brought back the uneatable food, did not offer an immediate apologize. It felt Iike I was inconveniencing them for what they did wrong. I had to wait until I was grabbing my food and leaving before I received anfy orm of an apology. They still didn't except responsibility for cooking it wrong. They just basically said that's how the chicken comes, pre-cooked so they just heat it up. With that in mind, I won't be back at this location. I could do that at home and have it...

I placed my order at 11:27am for curbside pickup, promised at 11:39. It is now 11:57 and I still have not received my order. I called inside the restaurant, thinking maybe my check in had been overlooked. The person that answered the call stated that it would be quicker to just come inside to get it because they were super busy. I stated that wasn't dressed appropriately to come inside, hence why I selected curbside pickup. She stated I could drive closer to the door and she'd run it out to me. I drive around, closer to the front door, waited about 3 more minutes. Out comes a server/host, to tell me it will be an additional 20 minutes or so for my order. It is currently 12:02 and I'm still waiting for my order. It's as if the dine in orders are receiving preferential treatment over the carryout/online orders....if I could give zero stars, I certainly would!

UPDATE: I received my order at 12:23, after calling inside again. I ordered the Colorado omelet, after a quick peek into my bag everything looked in order. I get back to my hotel room, pour the salsa over my omelet. The salsa looked a little thin but I shrugged it off. Then I tasted it and it was definitely marinara sauce. Needless to say, my meal was ruined....Never in my life,have I experienced such terrible service from IHOP. I very likely will not spend my money at this...
