I used to buy my pizzas from Papa John's as they are only a block and a half away but they hired a new subcontracted out phone answering service as a person who speaks Asian very fluently and very little English can ever get my order straight and then she tells me that they cannot deliver to my address as it's too far away simply because she cannot understand when I tell her my address is north 14th 1/2 Street as Papa John's is on 13th and Wabash a block and a half away so I switched to Domino's here on Wabash and10th Street they get my pizza to my house after they leave their shop in about 3 minutes and the Papa John's answering service sends their drivers to sometimes South1412 or sometimes North 1412 which neither one of those addresses that actually exist so the last three times I tried to get a Papa John's they never showed up at all and I had to go to the bank cancel the debit card as they took my money but no pizza but not a problem with Domino's as they have real people that can speak real English and know exactly...
Read moreMy church had a pretty big order for a fellowship night. When my friend and I came to the drive thru we were greeted by two gentlemen. I believe one of the men's name was Dominic and unfortunately I wasn't able to get the other gentleman's name. But the other gentlemen was a tall caucasian man with blonde hair in a ponytail with glasses.
These gentlemen and the team had our order ready to go. Now it wasn't just the speed that shocked my friend and I but it was the serving spirit these two gentlemen had that made us breathless. These men without us asking and without hesitation, came outside and asked us where they could place the pizzas in the car. My goodness, I was so stunned I was almost in tears! An hour later it was still saying Kenneth was preparing my order, so I called the store to see what the issues was (thinking maybe the website had a glitch). Jeremiah answered the call and provided me the poorest of customer service responses as if I was in the wrong. He stated they were not delivering any orders, which was not known when I placed my order. He clearly was not listening to my concern as he blurted out they were not delivering orders. I would have gone to pick it up had he been more friendly. I was trying to be reasonable but his response was so poor I decided to cancel my order. I understand there may have been an issue within the store and he may have been stressed HOWEVER that had nothing to do with me and he could've been more considerate.
