5S Rock Bar & Grill at Film Alley Terrell — Restaurant in Terrell

We waited 15 minutes at the please wait to be seated sign and watched the hostess and 3 servers just walk around (in a restaurant that was 1/3 full until the hostess finally asked us if we needed anything. Yes, to be seated. We were sat at a table and given no menus, then say there for 10 minutes waiting for our waitress who was very sweet and obviously busy, but many other servers were walking by us still seated without menus. We finally placed a drink order with our waitress (2 margaritas, one with no salt) still offered no menus. I finally got up and grabbed the scanning menu from the bar and brought it back to our table which had no menus. Neither of us could get the scan menu to open on our phones so we had to ask our waitress for a paper menu. 25 minutes at the table my husband got his margarita, and the waitress apologized for not bringing mine, (there was a mistake and mine was salted so she left it behind and was to bring mine. She kindly offered us water while we waited and we ordered our food finally. I actually walked up to the bar 10 minutes later which was about 10 feet from our booth and asked for it myself, when my waitress saw me up there she rushed over and said, "hey you got my margarita?" after I had asked the bartender for it. The bartender looked surprised and asked for the drink ticket, we both replied in unison, "you salted it," I finally got my margarita once our food was served. We asked to speak with the manager who had passed out table no less than 5 times and managed to miss me attempting to flag anyone over everytime. He started things are a lot better than when he got there. Food was alright but then my husbands ketchup bottle on the table exploded Ketchup all over him when he attempted to use it. Overall... Unimpressed! Sad, was looking forward to...

We enjoyed our visit after a few rounds of bowling. The food was pretty good, but I had some issues. First, while our steaks were likely 16 oz, they were broad but thin. This makes steaks tougher and more difficult to get the correct temp. We ordered our steaks medium rare, but they were medium, bordering medium well. We don't believe in wasting food or time, so sending them back wasn't an option. Second, our server, while very sweet, was absent. There were a total of 5 tables sat, and it took an awfully long time to even submit our drink order. Then she put our table number in wrong, so all of our food kept being delivered to the next table - bless them for being honest and pretty cool. Like I said, we really did enjoy our visit, but there were WAY too many employees just standing at the bar (managers included) for service to be as slow as it was. I'm only posting this to give management an opportunity to address breakdowns in service, which can easily...

This place is awful there was maybe 3 tables and 5 employees and no one wanted to approach our table to take our order. We had to get up and ask for water. They never brought a menu. I had to go ask for one. And let me just saw we waited literally 15 minutes before saying anything because we noticed a weird vibe when we walked in. Dirty tables. No on acknowledged us until one girl who FINALLY came to take our order was visibly irritated by having to talk to me and told me they didn't have gluten free anything and she had no idea and no one has ever ordered that. I said it says it here and here on your menu. Have you worked here very long? No? Can you go ask someone? She left and never came back. Like just stood there at the bar hoping I'd go...
