3B's Burgers & Beer — Restaurant in Texas

As soon as we walked in, we knew we'd love this place. I believe we were greeted by the owner, if not a manager of some sort and it was a very welcoming, warm experience making us immediately feel at home here.

The menu is pretty simple, which is a good thing. Some bar style kitchens tend to over reach with a larger selection, but this place knows what it does well and sticks to it. What they do well, and exceptionally so, is burgers.

Cooked pretty much to perfection, we ordered a couple of their special burgers with some simple sides and it was all very delicious. I love when I can tell the chef is passionate about what he sends out. He even peeked around the corner to ask how we liked it at one point, another great thing to see.

They had a mostly domestic beer selection on tap and a single IPA, my preferred style. They also had a cooler full of a multitude of bottled beers to select from though and you're sure to find something to suit your palate.

This is a great place to catch a game as well. We were there on a Friday night, about an hour and a half before they closed and finished watching the Astros game, but they also had some preseason NFL on another screen.

We were coming back from Galveston on our way to OKC. We wanted a burger but wanted to support a local place. We found this on google. Not far off the highway at all. Less than .5 miles. Walked in and the place was very clean, the lady behind the bar greattex us immediately and gave us some menus to order. Looking over the menu, I really wanted to get the Doer burger but, didn’t want to nap while driving our order and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. We ordered four custom burgers, fries, and onion rings. Three burgers were requested well done on the patty. They cook to medium just fyi. I was fine with it. But everyone I was with wanted well down. This is why I was impressed with the delivery time. Everything came out great. I forgot to order tots so I went back and ordered them. They came out in less than 4 minutes and were hot and crispy. Rings are great, fries were crisp as Well. The patty’s were thick. I wasn’t expecting that. Hand made from angus beef. I've been going here for several years actually. Well-trained staff, very friendly. Randy, the general manager, is the nicest guy in the world. Goes out of his way to make sure everyone is satisfied. He's always smiling, and always in a good mood. His friendliness rubs off on all the crew members. The menu items are awesome and original. Navigational items such as a pizza burger, mile high burger, Hawaiian Burger, Frito pie Burger, chili burger, and many other originals. Everybody should try this place and see what's on the menu. Even their Chicken Fried Burger is a competitor to the DQ Dude sandwich; that's saying a lot comin' from me. Their Frito Pie was excellent on another recent visit as well.
