OMG. I mean really, OMG. Hey, HBK Houston, do you have a special license to serve the best Indian food in Texas? Not to be too much of a snob but I've had Indian food from all over the states. All over the San Francisco Bay area, Las Vegas, Houston, New York City, London (England), and Singapore. Of all those I gotta say this place is in the top three. Maybe the top two out of all of them. The food is just... Perfect. We've been here twice and, with no overlap between each order, everything was super amazingly delicious. The service is excellent too. Very patient and polite. Although, maybe it's just me but I think they need to speak a bit louder. The place can get noisy when it's nearly a full house. You can still converse but extra volume is required. The menu is quite large too. I want to try everything! I have this insecurity that this place will disappear before I've been able to have all of the dishes. I have three benchmarks for Indian cuisine. The first is the naan. This place blew my mouth away with their incredible naan. The 'plain' naan is the absolute best I've had in at least twenty years. Just amazing in every category. Their Bullet Naan is also exquisite! The second benchmark of Indian cuisine for me is their navratan kurma. Theirs was spot on and I couldn't stop eating it. So fresh and topped off with awesome paneer. The last benchmark is the masala chai. It's good. Very good, but not the best. Bummer. But there is excellent masala chai nearby. Special shout out goes to Hyderabadi Chicken 65. It's a but creamier than regular Chicken 65 and it has an extra touch of citrus too. It's a wonderful take on a fantastic dish. So yummy. 😋 We'll be back that's for sure.

A Hidden Gem Bringing Hyderabad to Spring, TX! I had the pleasure of visiting House of Biryani and Kebab just five days into their opening, and wow—they’re already serving up greatness. I tried an interesting cocktail - Hot Toddy - and one of their house specials, the boneless mutton fry sum biryani, along with a bowl of tomato soup. The toddy with a crisp citrusy flavor was very refreshing. The food portions were generous, and every bite of that biryani transported me straight back to Hyderabad. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully spiced—it’s the real deal. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe, and the quality of the food speaks for itself. If you’re anywhere near Spring, TX and love authentic Hyderabadi flavors, this spot is a must. I’ll definitely be back!

Authentic Taste That Took Me Back to India! I recently tried the Chicken Dum Biryani and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were so rich, aromatic, and truly authentic , every bite reminded me of traditional homemade biryani from back home. I also had some seafood dishes, and the highlight was definitely the Nellore Chepala Pulusu. The tangy, spicy flavors were spot on , it tasted just like the Andhra-style fish curry I remember from India. It’s rare to find such authenticity in Indian seafood abroad, and this place nailed it! Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving real, flavorful Indian cuisine. I’ll definitely be going back for more!

After trying several Indian restaurants around, House of Biryani & Kebabs has quickly become our favorite spot. I’ve sampled a wide variety of their dishes across multiple dine-ins and takeout orders, and every experience has been packed with flavor, generous portions, and impressive speed.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Chinta Chiguru Paneer – Delicious, tangy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Had it for the first time after many years, and it truly brought back nostalgic Andhra flavors!

Nalli Gosht Biryani – The mutton was perfectly cooked, infused with spices, and every bite was bursting with flavor.

Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani – Fragrant, flavorful, and perfectly spiced with tender chicken in every bite.

Veg & Non-Veg Kebab Platters – Well-seasoned and grilled just right.

Paneer Curries & Palak Paneer – The Palak Paneer has a unique style, but it’s very delicious.

Kottu Paratha – The parotta was perfectly shredded and mixed with masala and veggies, making every bite comforting and delicious. Reminded me of home-style street food at its best.

Mirapa Kodi Vepudu – Spicy, flavorful, and perfectly roasted. A fiery treat that hits all the right notes for spice lovers.

Raju Gari Kodi Mamsam – The chicken was tender and the gravy had the perfect kick rich, spicy, and packed with bold Andhra flavors, with a generous touch of cashews this felt like a true royal treat.

Apollo Fish – Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and tossed in a spicy, tangy sauce. A perfect starter for any seafood lover.

Fresh Naan & Sides – Always warm, soft, and great with everything. I tried garlic, butter, and bullet naan, plus some parotta—they are the best in town.

Vankaya Biryani – I’m not a big fan of brinjal, but this biryani completely won me over. Flavorful, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious. It’s now on my list of veg favorites!

Qubani ka Meetha – The perfect ending to a spicy meal. This is the only restaurant in the USA where I’ve found it made to perfection better than any I’ve tried. A true Hyderabadi delight.

Despite the huge variety on the menu, their delivery is fast and efficient. The food always arrives hot and neatly packed even with large, mixed orders. That’s rare and definitely appreciated.

The staff is friendly and responsive, always willing to help or clarify dishes, and their service adds to the overall great experience.

No other restaurant in this area serves such consistently good food with authentic flavors this place...

We recently had the pleasure of ordering food from House of Biryani and Kebabs for our pre-wedding celebrations—including multiple days of lunch and dinner. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely wonderful.

The food was exceptional—delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. Every guest who attended our celebrations raved about the taste and variety. In fact, many of our friends were so impressed, they wanted to know where the food was from!

We’d love to highlight a few standout dishes:

Dondakai Pakodi Fry – I’ve tried this dish in many restaurants across Houston, but this one was by far the best. The spice level and crispiness were just perfect.

Sambar – Tasted just like how my grandmother used to make it—authentic, comforting, and full of flavor.

Dondakai Pachadi – Another crowd favorite! Everyone kept asking about it—it was that good.

Double Ka Meetha – One bite took us straight to Hyderabad. Absolutely divine.

Sorakai Halwa – This is another must-try dessert! We had specially requested it, and the team prepared it perfectly. The taste was absolutely delightful—rich, authentic, and truly memorable.

Navratan Kurma – Rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced.

Gutti Vankaya Pulao – This quickly became a favorite among many guests. A must-try! Each day’s pulao and veggie biryanis were packed with flavor and variety.

Naans – These were soft and fresh, even at the end of the party. Unlike other places, they didn’t turn soggy and were still good the next day!

We also appreciated the variety in appetizers served on different days—each one unique, well-prepared, and with no repetition. The taste remained consistently excellent throughout.

A special thanks to the restaurant management for accommodating our delivery needs. Even with our hectic wedding schedule, they ensured timely delivery for every event, which made a big difference.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at House of Biryani and Kebabs for adding so much flavor, warmth, and joy to our special moments. We’re truly grateful and highly recommend you to anyone looking to make their event memorable with...
