went to this Chilis on 12/17/23 and was very unsatisfied...To begin with we waited about 10 minutes before any one aknowledege us being there to be seated, there was also 2 other familys that were there before we were waiting...We were seated and i orderd a White Russian, she looked at me all crazy and stated they have not had any Khula in over a year and a half..WHAT? you have a full bar and I expect the drink that I order, ok fine i ordered a Margrita...We ordered our meal with an appetitzer, asked that the app gets to us first... Well about 10 minutes later a manager comes out with ONE plate and it was my main entree, her name was Erica and very poor charcter, she started to set plate down and i said hold on where is the nachos we ordered before hand and she stated she brings out what is put up there, wrong answer, to begin with you bring the app, the the main entrees a few later and you bring out the wholes table food at one time, not one by one as they are done. I made her take back my entree and she did not like it...Very short with her reponses, NEVER carried a smile anytime she was in the resturant..we got through the dinner and time to pay,, WE had 2 e gift cards amounting to 35.00 and one 25.00 visa gift card, i told the waitress that the e cards come off first, them the 25 vis acard and we pay the balance of 51.00...well needless to say they did not run it that way and the 25 gift card kept being declined...Tht manager stated that this has happened before, WELL if it happens the first time, you try to correct it, instead of just declining.. WE paid the bill, no tip ..got home called the visa gift card company and the male manager was running that card for 30.00 and then another for 60.00, and of course it was being declined...I was livid, FROM NOW ON WHEN A CUSTOMER COMES IN WITH EGIFT CARDS AND A VISA GIFT CARD A PHYSICAL CARD, YOU RUN THE E GIFT CARDS FIRST, YOU BRING THE BALANCE TO THE CUSTOMER WITH BALANCE, WE WILL DEDUCT THE 25.00 BALANCE ON CARD, PAY OUR PORTION ON ANOTHER PYMT FORM AND THEN THAT REMAINING 25.00 COMES OFF..BOOM BAM DONE....THIS FOOL WAS RUNNING AMOUNTS WAY OVER THE 25 ON THE CARD..IM SURE THIS WILL GO TO THE STORE, AND ALL MANAGERS GET A SCHOOLING IN THIS MATTER...WE WILL NOT GO BACK TO THIS RESTURANT MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE BAR AND WHEN A MANAGER {ERICA) IS RUDE JUST RECAUSE I ASKED HER TO TAKE MY MAIN COURSE BACK AND PLEASE BRING MY APP FIRST.....NOT A HAPPY CAMPER WITH THIS...
Read moreYou know I really do try. To give Chili’s a great review. As I know not all of their restaurants. Have lack of/poor, customer service (and food quality).
I dined at one in Houston, Tx. On I-10 east Frwy. There service was good, and the food was so good. I actually finished my meal.
But on a visit today. At 3030 Silvelake Village St. Pearland, Tx. 77585.
Upon entering there’s no one to greet/seat you. So you have to guess which section has a server. And cleaned tables. So I sat at the bar. For about 7 minutes, before anyone came to greet.
The lady Cheyenne approached the bar. She did speak and asked how she could help. During the placing of my order, she didn’t appear to be pleased. I showed her a discounted offer, via email.
Her response was “did it give you a bar code”. I stated no, it just takes me to the site (I also demonstrated). And states for me to apply at check out. So she says “well it’s supposedly give you a bar code”! Ok so am I to blame because it didn’t. And now you MAY have to enter something manually?
I also added to the order. Not once did she ask if I were dinning in/out. Nor did she ask if I wanted a drink. Though I did tell her my drink. I didn’t receive it, from her that is. But she did not hesitate to give me the check right after taking my order.
A nice man, may have been the manager. Offered assistance after seeing me waiting. With nothing to drink and no cutlery. He apologized for it, and for me having the check so soon. When I’m dining in. And he also brought my drink.
Once the sever came back, I still didn’t receive cutlery. Nor napkins when she brought part of my order. I only received the napkins, after she seen me wipe the side of my mouth with my hand.
Her tone and manners were not good at all. Then to top, I sat on the end of the bar. Close to the kitchen, where there was an inappropriate conversation.
I heard a young man call someone a MF. And then proceeded to use the N word. As that same manager was there. So clearly there was no need to advise management. This is another Chili’s I will not be...
Read moreWe ate at the Chili's in Pearland, Silverlake tonight, and it was disappointing. There were two adults and four kids in our party, from age nine to fourteen. The place was, maybe a quarter full with empty, clean tables in an area that had few people dining that would have been just fine, and yet we still had to wait for fifteen minutes. I don't mind the wait. Waiting at a restaurant to be seated, because they are busy is something that we have all dealt with, but it was something else to have to wait and see ample seating while the hostess tells you that you will be seated shortly, and then just walks around. We weren't alone. There was a part of two and a party of four or five that were also waiting, whence got there. There were plenty of places that could have accommodated them as well. None of us ended up being seated in any of the available seats. We had to wait for occupied seate to become available.
When we finally sat down, the waiter was a much better experience, and most of the food was good, but unfortunately I ordered the Quesadilla Explosion Salad. I had it at the Chili's on Buffalo Speedway, and it was excellent. At this location in Pearland, the salad was wilted and completely drenched in salad dressing. Again, I have had this before, and this was far from my previous experience with the salad. The salad was not wilted because of the chicken, no, the chicken, though grilled, was cold. The salad wasn't simply tossed in the dressing, it must have been swimming in it. I know I should have sent it back, it was suggested, but we already had to wait, and I didn't feel like having to wait again just to get another limp salad.
Again, the waiter was better. He asked how everything was, and we told him how everything was good, with the exception of the salad. He spoke with a manager, and she took the salad off the bill. Removing the salad from the bill was appreciated, but we will never return to this Chili's again.
I upgraded from one star to two, because the salad was removed...
