Had a terrible experience at Kroger on Mothers Day. I went there around 7:30am on Sunday to get fresh flowers. After I had picked out my flowers I asked them if they could wrap it, they told me they were not wrapping things I said its ok I will do it myself no issue. Then the lady gave me two wraps and string. I asked her if I would do it on the flower shop counter she said it was fine. I was wrapping my flowers and the other lady who worked there who was showing everyone a bad attitude told me I would not wrap my flowers there and i told her that her coworker had said it was fine. . So where am i supposed to wrap my flowers, on the hood of my car in the parking lot? its not like your employees are stepping in to help anyway right? Now MIND YOU this was not even a time when the flower area was being swarmed by Mothers Day shoppers. Anyway, I was almost done when this happened so I wrapped my flowers cleaned up the area and left. But what I dont appreciate is the fact that I was not being helped by anyone and at the same time I was not being allowed to help myself. If anyone had visited this kroger section they know how there is no place to wrap things except where they assemble the flowers for purchase. and it has a counter you can put your things on and work so its not like i was on the other side of the counter anyway doing all this. This lady had a bad attitude from the minute i was in that section, there were some guys who came looking for help and she did not try to find a solution to their problem at all. Not only that half the flower cases were empty so people were walking in and either picking up what was left or just leaving. Its only after I had made my purchase I noticed they started restocking the flower bins so I was able to exchange my flowers for much fresher variety. This lady was bullying her team mate the whole time. She had no smile just a very very bad attitude and NO WILLINGNESS TO HELP ANYONE. I have been a waitress at every major holiday, even when I did not want to go to work but there is NO EXCUSE for having a bad attitude at work. I have done this before myself and people will notice it. I honestly did not want to ask her for anything because I could tell she was very obnoxious and unhelpful so I avoided her at all costs. In conclusion, this was the Kroger I went to every year for Mother's Day flowers and I wont be doing that anymore. I dont want to see angry combative people at 7:30am in the morning, that too on Mother's Day. If you are not going to help me, you should leave me be and let me help myself. The cashier at the automatic register is the only one who helped me with all this and is always very nice. I will drive down to other vendors starting next year for Mothers Day. I would rather do that than deal with this...
Read moreI visited this Krogers on Highway 6 and West Airport on August 23 at around 7PM and was greeted by an unbearable Courtesy Booth service time. NO WAY should there be a long line at a courtesy booth during rush hour and only 1 person operating the register. It took 25 Minutes to do ONE transfer. TO make matters worse, there were 2 people in line doing Western Union and RIA transfers which take a LONG time to complete. Not only was the lady attendant slow but NOT very good with management and efficiency. Instead of calling for backup for those like myself that are only doing bill payments and or lottery OR open up another register that was beside her to multi task to help cut the line down, she continued to not care. As a result, more than 5 people including myself stepped out of line which is a loss in business for Kroger. In one instance, she handled one RIA Transfer, gave the money to the lady but then reinitialized yet another 20 minute transfer to the same person instead of having the lady step aside for one second to handle other quicker transactions or calling for help, This is UNACCCEPTABLE and needs to be retrained.
My suggestion is having more competent people at the register, competent as in you see more than 6 people in a line, CALL FOR HELP. You lost many customers due to her not being wise and competent. I also think you need to make Western Union or other money transfers done in a separate line so that it doesn't hog up the line where people just want to do a simple bill 5 minute payment, or get lottery tickets etc. If all else isn't possible, HAVE MORE PEOPLE BEHIND THE COUNTER when the line gets backed up. The cashier workers should be trained where if you see an area in the store that needs help or is backed up to call someone that is a floater to help relieve that area. That makes a more efficient company and store. And a more efficient company is successful in customer service...
Read moreI've been shopping at this Kroger store location since it 1st opened, it's my neighborhood and go2 store for a lot of my needs. I shouldn't have to go further to a different grocery to do my shopping unless my neighborhood Kroger give me reasons to. Yesterday was that reason. I not only buy groceries here but also buy all my lottery tickets. I came in to buy lotto tickets as I do daily. Bought my lotto tickets and left. 10 minutes later I looked at my lotto tickets I had bought and realized that I was missing a lot of lotto tickets. Went back to the Kroger and asked the same Kroger employee if she had forgotten to give me all of the lotto tickets I had bought earlier. The same Kroger employee who sold me the tickets looked at me as if I was a CROOK, I was shocked and very disappointed the way she answered my question. I pulled out my Kroger receipt and showed her exactly what lotto tickets I was missing and asked her to look at the camera to see if she forgot to give me all of my tickets. It was another different Kroger customer who helped me and saw that my tickets were not given to me at time of purchase. As a longtime regular Kroger customer I deserve better service from my Kroger store. Kroger Co. should hire better employees to better assist and help their customers. I was very disappointed and unhappy with my experience and the way that Kroger employee treated me. To everyone and anyone who shops at this Kroger location or plan to shop here, I recommend that you should avoid this Kroger store because there are more and better grocery stores than this...
