Super annoyed and offended. Been eating the same hJimmie John's sandwhich the same way for years. But not today! Here's a transcript...literally verbatim.
Note: When I walked in the Mgr was eating Whataburger. He was bothered to leave his food and was rude. I ordered drinks and another sandwhich before the following.
Me: I'll have a tuna slim. JJ: Mgr.: Okay. Girl making sandwhiches: (huffs) Me: Could you put extra mayo on the bread. JJ: It's tuna. It already has mayonnaise in it. (Said in snarky tone) GMS: (Eye roll. Switches to other foot) Me: I know that. But I'd like extra mayonnaise. GMS: (More eye rolling huffing and puffing.) Me: And could I get a side of hot peppers. JJ: No. We can't do that. If you want vegetables you have to order another sandwhich. Me: I want this sandwhich I don't want vegetables l want hot peppers on the side. Charge me for them. JJ: We don't have the little on the side cups. We can't give you peppers with a slim. Me: Okay. Well could you please just roll a few up in a piece of paper? That's how yall usually give them to me anyway. JJ: No. We can't do that. GMS: We don't put anything on a slim. You'll have to order bigger sandwhich if you want veggies. Me: So you won't give me any peppers? JJ: No. If you want them you'll have to buy a jar, its $21.00. ME: I don't want a jar. I want 3 or 4 little pieces. You can't just give me a few in a sheet of paper? JJ: No. JJ and GMS: make faces to each other and look at me like I'm some sort of a*shole. Me: Well then I don't want any of it. Me: (walks out)
To Jimmy John: Really? You'll lose a customer over 1/10th of a penny worth of peppers? Or, your not willing to spend a penny to keep a customer happy? No rules should be set in stone there should be some wiggle room. For example in this case there should have been wiggle room. A manager needs to be more than an higher-paid cashier. Should possess professionalism, good judgement, common sense and more importantly understand and know how to deliver customer service.
To the Manager: you should know better than to treat a customer like that or maybe you don't seeing as you had no customers in your store.
To the girl making the sandwiches: You should get a grip on your face making. I'm sure you're a big part of the reason there were no customers. You're crappy attitude is going to be a huge part of your downfall, you're never going to get anywhere being nasty like that. I didn't need your attitude I needed you to put mayonnaise on...

Yesterday, my wife and I ordered two #4's with chips and a pickle. All was correct except they forgot to add lettuce. š I wondered if this was my bad with ordering online, so I called to check and see if it came with lettuce or not. They accidentally forgot to add lettuce on both of our sandwiches and offered to comp our meal.
Today I called and took up on that offer and man was it the best sandwich I've ever had! Even the delivery driver apologized when they came to the door a second time!
Only name I got was Nathan, THANK YOU TO NATHAN AND THE TEAM!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSometimes things happen beyond our control, people calling in drivers with car problems, Its really hard to be in the customer service field these days when people take out their frustration on the very people just trying to help and do their jobs as best as they can, some of these people are young first time jobs and so forth. I just want to say this Jimmy Johns has a great staff and some days are not as smooth as others but they always give us a heads up and call if it takes longer than usual. When were busy and can't find time to eat and are so hungry we could faint we always choose you guys knowing we don't have to wait long and once when someone burned the bread you told us it was going to be longer than normal but you still got here...
